Reporting a User Interface/Visual Bug within Division 2 (Warlords of new York)

Type of Bug: User Interface/Visual

Description: Due to account rollbacks on April 7th to March 17th, characters that progressed to level 40 during the two weeks, and subsequently got rolled back to the state of March 17th (in which the character is no longer 40), causes a User Interface bug ONCE reaching level 40 on the Shade Level Watch!

Steps to reproduce:

-A character was level 40 on April 7th,
-A character was NOT level 40 on the March 17th
-Once levelling back to 40 on said character and finishing the final mission in warlords of new york and unlocking the shade level watch a UI (Visual) bug occurs
-Entering for the first time prompts the first tutorial audio but then skips and loads the watch normally showing all SHD ranks inside

Expected result:

The shade level watch in the inventory screen should show your current Shade Level Rank in a numerical format
The first selection of the shade watch should give a tutorial to the user

Observed result:

The shade level watch is BLANK, showing no rank and having an exclamation mark (Indicating the user to click), this is constant and reloading, relogging does not solve this visual bug.

Reproduction rate:

100% of the time - testing on five characters (Different accounts)

Further Info:

This is purely a visual bug, causing NO issues with adding/using shade level points/levels and no problems accessing the watch

Can you specify which turret in particular, and I know I ask this a lot but do you have a video of it happening too?

The crash on PS4, does it give you a specific error code at all?

Thanks. Having shotgun pellets each count as a hit would be a minor buff but it would make talents like Fast Hands much more useful.

100% for sure. Main potential drawback is just having only specific shotguns be viable with Striker, where the difference between best and worst option is a huge range (somewhat reminiscent of TD1).

I've passed the issue of Striker indifference to shotgun shells along to the team.

As saagri mentions though, striking a balance between the automatic shotguns vs. something like a double-barrel can be tricky territory.

As soon as you begin the Warlords of New York expansion, the World Tier/Gear Score system pretty much evaporates. Once you're back in DC at level 40, it should be functionally as if you're in World Tier 5 endgame with everything at level 40.

If however you're being locked out of certain content like Strongholds due to not having a 'high enough gear score' despite having completed the Warlords content, please let me know.

We pushed an update for this on Tuesday and I had people reach out to me saying it works now. Are you still (as in today) getting a black screen with OBS 25? The person reaching out to me on Discord said that 25.0.4 is working for them after the update.

Turrets and other deployable skills dying too quickly has been talked about since like TU6, but is this health issue in particular something that you've only noticed after TU8.5?

That's not going to help you in the contaminated areas, what mask was this in particular Agent? :)

If it somehow helps, the issue is not related to any PVP activity in DZ.

In my case, I am losing frames after third-fifth extraction. It means that I needed to clear landmarks. Maybe it's somehow connected. Not sure.

We actually are seeing similar reports about Black Tusk helis in general, so we are looking at this from several angles.

Not possible to just debug it on live server instead of test build? Maybe server issue since i assume internal is local network and live is on whatever server it connects to via internet? Sorry just its annoying and i like to kill people :)

So, don't kill me if this is not 100% correct but I think it's just the availability of debugging tools are not the same. I'm following the internal discussion on this topic quite closely and they are making progress, it's just pretty slow.

Also, don't forget we are working from home which also means with remote connections it's a bit harder to get some of the progress done in a normal time.

You need to spend some time in DZ. I guess the easiest way to reproduce it would be calling an extraction each time when it departs. After a few, you should start losing frames.

Ofc, in an Occupied Dark Zone frames drop are higher. Even without extractions.

I'm forwarding all the reports and we are trying some different things now. It's definitely easy to reproduce on the live servers, just the internal builds somehow are not as affected.

We are having trouble debugging this issue. We are encountering it on the live servers as well but can't reproduce it easily internally. It's one of the issues that is most affected by us working from home.

Interested to hear opinions and suggestions about this. What team would you think qualifies for this?

Suspensions for the "DPS Glitch" are currently being lifted. Depending on the exact timing of your suspension you might have to wait some additional time. All suspensions related to the "DPS Glitch" will be lifted today.

We heard your feedback and have implemented a checkpoint before the boss battle.

This should be in place when we next patch.

We haven't forgotten about this one and a fix is in place.

We are just waiting for the next title update to implement the change.
