I have a 1070 with a ryzen 5 1600x.

I do not have stable 144 and when shit goes down I can go down to even 90. Idk wtf is the optimization in this game.

Ram on 3000, cleaned less than 3 weeks ago, low cpu usage for some reason. I don't understand the issue :/ Warzone gives me more fps ffs.

We're actively looking into improving AMD CPU optimization. In our testing prior to beta release, we saw that we were unable to push Ryzen CPUs close to 100% util, they tended to stay at around 60% util on a single core at best. Intel CPUs on the other hand are utilized up to around 90%.

I'll have to get back to you as my friend is now offline. Last patch my fps definitely took a small hit - but this patch? it's close to unplayable. Solid 160 fps with no action but sometimes even drops below 100 during chaos.

At launch this game was absolutely rock solid in terms of performance. I'm just slightly worried it will become harder to run.

We're keeping an eye on patch over patch performance. We'll definitely review if we're seeing degradation there.

This is something we wanna add - not sure when it'll be in, but we 100% agree.

As i mentioned, it was working yesterday, but after today's patch it broke again.

I can try and update for the latest version, if you give me the go.

I tried the same version and I saw an error the first time I started a VM but then the second time I tried it worked. I'll keep looking into it though.

My problem (i guess) is with "nvcpl.dll" (from runing "sigverif" it shows me that dll file only), but that is from Nvidia Control Panel, which i CAN'T? (i'm guessing it's important, since it's from Nvidia) remove, i updated to the latest drivers (i only install drivers without GeForce experience) for my GPU tho (GTX 1080ti) and it didn't help, so i'm lost here now, i can't do anything anymore, since i don't have "VBoxUSBMon.sys" file in my system32/drivers folder also.

Could you DM me with your logs from C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard\Logs ? Compatibility changes are coming soon, but I'd still like to make sure your issue will be covered.

My friend told me someone he knows was struggling for fps on EU servers but on NA servers it is much higher?

I hope you are aware of the current FPS drops in game? At launch this game was ABSOLUTELY solid for me but after the last couple of patches the game feels very sluggish.

Do you know when they feel that started? There's not a fundamental difference between the two regions as far as set up, but there are different levels of players on different servers, so possible we're reaching capacity hits for some players on a subset of the servers. Do you know what the fps they were getting before and what they're seeing now?

we 3 get into a lobby, 1 of us can't pick lock in. timer runs to zero and 2 of us get put into a new lobby, then that one reaches zero and we get split again. all of these lobbies have the same players on our team.

interesting, so it's the same 5 players that end up in the new game lobbies, but your party splits?

Are you seeing any errors when trying to get into queue? or is it just failing to join the queue?

Everything is normal - just when all pick nothing happens and timer goes to zero, where nothing happens.

We're actively looking into game start issues. When you're stuck in character select, are you able to select characters and it just never loads into game? Or do all characters show as unpickable?

If it's not working for you can you let me know your VMWare version?

It's possible that there's a version specific thing we can look at.

Holy fuck a fast as hell response from rito itself, I’m blessed.

In all srs tho awesome thank you a ton, the game is awesome so far and Its absurdly good for beta. Any suggestions in the meantime you might have to work around this kinda issue?

If there's a performance issue it'll be on our side and we'll need to fix it.

The best work around would be to uninstall Riot Vanguard (from Add/Remove programs). You won't be able to play Valorant until it's reinstalled (the game launcher will do it) but it will mean that there's no chance of a Vanguard bug impacting anything on your system.

(VBoxUSBMon.sys) this is not in my system and I ran sigverif to no avail. everything is clean. Please help, everything ran smoothly today until my internet cut out. then after that it kept saying I had to reboot my PC in order to install Vanguard. Even though I have it! I tried reinstalling it too and rebooted my PC 10 times but nothing works. I'm not a big computer guy, all I know is how to play games. I love riot and their games but this whole anti-cheat is a bit over the top. I understand that you want the best anti-cheats but to the avg consumer it just becomes too much work. I would still like some help though!

Sorry to hear about your issues!

Some other software that sometimes causes problems are:

  • Comodo Internet Security Essentials
  • AMD Graphics Driver Pixel Clock Patcher
  • Aomei Backupper

It's not a complete list but there are some more. If this doesn't help I recommend a support ticket, they'll be able to look at your logs and figure out more specifically what's going on.

Any option that vanguard will allow for virtualization in the future? I still don't want it on my main machine.

It's unlikely that we'll support virtualization but I wouldn't say never.

Re-commenting for ping, vanguard stops vmware vms from working

The initialization of the VMware Workstation device driver has failed. Execution of this virtual machine cannot continue.

It was fixed for like a day, but broke again today with the new patch. It always works if i rename vgk.sys to something else and restarting (to prevent the kernel driver from running) and always crashes when vgk is running.

I should be able to use VMs on my host system!

I'll ask the team about it to see what can be done.
