About 75% of my games are the worst latency I’ve ever experienced in 20 years of gaming. About 30 hours played. Sazan feels horrible with the latency. Have seen no “improvement” in the latency with any of the patches. After this most recent patch i got into the laggiest game I’ve ever been in /40 second queue.
Not everything is dandy and rainbows. I wanna invest in the game but the latency is truly quite embarrassing. It’s hard to recommend this game to anyone with the current server /latency state. It’s even harder to wanna invest money into it which i totally would minus this main issue. Hope y’all figure something out. It’s 2020 and amazon is basically god so👌. I might have faith
What region are you in?
wait, that's illegal
While we’ve been working on those, we’ve had other team members finalizing our first planned update, which will be a larger set of improvements and bug fixes related to core gameplay and quality of life—we’ll push it out once it’s ready.
I assume this has communication stuff
EDIT: I was wrong. See dev response below
Just to get ahead of this, I can confirm that our first Pre-Season update doesn't include voice chat. It's our top priority as a studio right now and we're shuffling internal resources to get it out sooner than we even originally planned, but it's not ready quite yet.

Developer’s note: Right now our focus is on resolving issues with connectivity, latency, and matchmaking as well as improving the success rate of the “backfill” feature which prevents matches from starting with missing players. We’ve made a lot of progress on these fronts over the past few days, but there’s...
Read moreThanks for the report - we're tracking the issue with the dummy hit boxes. In this particular case, the size of the hit boxes are out of whack.
This issue with the dummy hit boxes is different than hit reg issues seen in regular gameplay. Videos would be super useful for diagnosing those cases. Please post any links you might have!
Thanks for the update! Appreciate the work you all are doing.
Could we get a quick developer stream some time soon? Now that the game has officially launched it would be awesome (and comforting) to know that you guys are hearing some of the louder concerns among the community. I know it is still early and this title has just hit the market, but I think a dev stream (or something similar) will be important for retaining current players who are interested in where Crucible may be heading.
Re: developer stream (or something to that effect) - we hear you. Our focus this week (and through the weekend) is to get the game stable, but starting a conversation about what's next is right around the corner.
Another update -> we just made some adjustments to Alpha Hunters matchmaking to help improve queue times.
Hello, Anything to say about SA servers that all games are with high latency?
Hey Viper,
We're investigating. I don't have any updates to share right now. Thanks for your patience.

Bug fixes:
We've got a fix for this in our next build.
Would just like to echo this. I'm sure you guys are swamped and addressing stuff as swiftly as possible so I hate to sound pushy. So far all I've been able to do is watch people play on Twitch. It does get a little, uh, old.
This is one of our highest priority issues. We're working on some fixes for our next update.
3v5 not fixed, first match after patch instant 3v5
Team is investigating. Thanks for the quick reports!
I'd also recommend adding a "feature" that if the enemy is no longer in the game, declare the remaining team the winner.
Played a match where the enemy team quit at the start and we had to play an entire game against no one.
This was a 4v0 match?
The team is investigating. Thanks for the heads-up!
We've added a lot of this information to the wiki to get you started. Take a look:
Nice! That's excellent! Please let whoever you're talking to at Amazon/Relentless know that talent information is mostly useless without basic ability information. If they're planning more of these reveals, it would be much more helpful to get that info as well.
I come bearing gifts: https://cruciblegame.fandom.com/wiki/Hunters
Totally agree. I think it will depend on match length. Maybe it goes pretty quick since it's one life for all. Unlock 100 player battle royales maybe you don't lose too much time if you die early.
Alpha Hunters matches vary somewhat in length, but are generally less than 15 mins.
