I'm very sorry for your loss. Last year, I also lost a very dear friend and former gamedev colleague (from years back) and it still hurts whenever I think about him. I thought about adding his name to our game, but to me, it didnt feel like the right place for a thing like that. I understand that both you and your friends are fans of Deep Rock Galactic, but I will still have to decline your request. I can't give much reason other than the one I gave to myself.

Is there any possibility of having more than that? 2 loadouts will probably just be dedicated to different weapons (first primary/second primary) leaving only the third to have builds built around specific overclocks

I guess so, but we'll start with this and see how it works out.
It's mostly a UI challenge.

Bro, what the fuck, update 26 dropped like barely 2 weeks ago. GSG are puttin in them hours, I swear.

It's dark in here in Denmark, so we don't much else to do!

Exciting! Sounds great.

The quality of life improvement I'd like the most is the ability to configure the HUD indicator color for marked enemies, escape pods, resupply pods etc to a much more visible color. I'd use neon green. Can't count the number of times I (and teammates, I know I'm not the only one here) have spun in circles repeatedly on PE's trying to spot the escape pod marker. Or a teammate's marker or "I'm over here!".

The white color really fades into the background during the play and makes it hard to see when actively looking for it, let alone notice independently.

Other changes I haven't thougjt of to make them easier to spot would also be welcome.

Does SOT have the same problems? They also use unreal engine and monthly updates.

As I know it, the SOT team has not updated Unreal engine version for a long time. As we are a quite small dev (compared to Rare), we are always running on the almost latest Unreal version to get the most out of Epic's huge engine team adding optimizations, fixes and new features. And it's this newer version of Unreal (4.21) combined with UWP that creates certification problems.

Edit: sorry it's early in the morning where I am. Could you please explain what UWP means?

It's not a bug with the game, but an issue with Microsoft's automated certification tools. The tools do not like the combination of UWP and Unreal that we are using. This worked fine with Update 23 but the certification system changed and we got stuck in the middle.

Hey, question for you Developers? Are overclocks only available for the Primary and Secondary weapon or can you get them for the rest of your arsenal? Like the traversal gear, grenades, or pickaxe?

In the first iteration, Overclocks will be for the Primary and Secondary weapons.

We hoped to get a FAQ out today (Tuesday) on Update 25. But all your good questions, relevant concerns, and thoughtful comments have re-ignited the design team, so it might take a few more days. No reasons to tell you something that will change again in a day!
In any case, we expect Update 25 to have a huge impact on the game, so we will keep iterating until we reach the best possible experience.

It's been blocked in the certification process for a while now. We are working with Microsoft to solve the issue. It's one if those situations where it really is no ones fault, but we just got stuck in some general certification system upgrades that didnt gel with our specific setup (running an Unreal project with UWP).
