I imagine this occurs on live, but I’ve only tested it on the beta. Huntsman longbow crosshairs expands when crouching and aiming, creating worse aim by crouching for when you are looking down sights. It’s a pretty significant widening too.
They changed it here:
But that consequently affects all bleeds. Why was bleed nerfed? Who knows. It’d be really nice if Fatshark made notes for their changes. Like they did with the swapping of Battle Wizard’s talents. Whether the change is bad or good, it’d be nice to know why they make certain changes. Especially this one because it doesn’t seem to make much sense and it makes bleed just about the same as it used to be. Watering down bleeds doesn’t make much sense.

That worked. The old Dryad’s Rest doesn’t seem to go away though(not that it matters in regards to the quest completion).

Can’t seem to enter Dryad’s Rest to continue the mission. Tried going to main menu and logging back in but still had the same problem.
Started with VT1 because a friend invited me to play. I knew almost nothing of Warhammer before this. I enjoyed L4D and was captivated by the characters and visceral, randomized gameplay. The characters were quite unique and the amount of banter was something I’ve never seen done so well in a game. So many voice lines.
Kerillian is the most interesting and unique elf I’ve ever seen in fantasy and is the best elf I’ve ever seen, design wise. Every other game has really boring elves. They’re typically portrayed as snooty humans with pointy ears. Kerillian is humanoid, but different enough in both character and physiology that it makes for an interesting person. The subtlety with her tone and the delivery of her lines. The accent. The sarcasm and the humor with her lines. Plus I think this reflects a lot of the people who don’t like her:

The voice actors in this game do an incredible job. A lot of people just write a character like this off as mean, but ...
There are a few places like that. Another one is the gate blocking your path to your approach on the gatekeeper on Skittergate.
I understand that, but why make it so 50% of the time players deal with the worse lighting and worse gameplay experience? This sort of thing should be left to the modded realm.
Warhammer has brighter settings. I don’t get why people think everything in Warhammer has to be dark, dark, and darker.
I wouldn’t want them all the time. At first, it’s really neat to have the change and see this darkness. It can be enjoyable for a bit, but would easily become an issue.
A lot of time, I’m sure, was spent on lighting and color for the game so players see things really pop on our screen and can differentiate better the things on our screen(like their adjustments to Beastmen so we can tell them apart better). Or to really highlight various parts of the map and give a specific feel and tone as the characters play each map.
The darkness and fog causes everything to darken, muddling everything our eyes see. It also muddles all the hard work put into the original design. This in turn causes enemies to blend in more with the map and each other and makes it more challenging for player’s eyes to pick up on different things. The feel and tone of each map is diminished as everything just plays with the same look. The designs they chose to use begin to lose their effect or lose it completely. Exist...
Read moreI know. I don’t get the need to keep changing it. The one before the current one was good. I also missed the meaty first sound. I don’t like the new one they just put in.

Is that adequate information?
I was thinking special effects(SFX) for all the pretty effects and such. It’s what I had always seen it referred to as. I’ll remember that in the future though. Thanks.
Definitely the ring on the ground that shows how far it should reach(when you hold F). I had a buddy look at the flame and it appears the explosion and fire patch on the ground also match the ring on the ground. So all of the visual stuff you see. The actual damage/stagger is further than that though, so they’re not matching.
So that’s called VFX and not SFX?
Unchained’s active’s functional radius does not match the SFX.
What sort of heretical monstrosity is that?

The echo is really annoying and random.
I don’t know if that would be a thing because it takes away from the self-imposed challenge. Plus, I imagine the 150% and 200% options are so that players could also make longer intervals, but the intensity of stuff when it does come would be more severe. Or the players could keep it short intervals and spawn the increased quantities anyways. Could also take it to Legend so stuff dies faster but you still ge...

The Twitch 2.0 changes are absolutely phenomenal. They’re so fun and there are so many more options. The customization additions are amazing. I didn’t even know you guys made patch notes and stuff like these:
I’ve only played one round of it so far, but it was really fun. I asked about twitch changes before but it seems like it was being done on the down-low. So glad this was revamped because twitch mode is one of the best things Vermintide 2 offers. It’s so fun and it’s neat how it gives viewers the opportunity to interact with streamers. Tons of creative twitch voting possibilities. I love how there are more blesses along with bad things too. Chaos is glorious.
