For clarity, was the Hero you were hovering banned or picked by someone else? If so, this is the intended functionality.

However, if the Hero you had hovered was available (aka not picked or banned) then this would be something I’d want to look into as that is not intended.

Hello again everyone!

Thanks for sending in those logs!

We identified a loading icon issue in the initial purchase window and released a hotfix on 8/14 in the Heroes 47.1 patch.

This fix uncovered a new issue where the purchasing window fails to load. We are currently testing a potential fix for this issue and hope to release it as soon as we can.

If you wanted to help us more, if you could encourage the Masters players you know that have finished their 50 win requirement to post here on the account they used to play Storm League, it’d give us a lot more data into what each account is seeing!

Player Level is equal to the sum of your Hero Levels, so your Player Level will always move up when you level a Hero. Since Heroes 2.0, when Loot Chests and Progression was added, this has only awarded one Loot Chest, the rarity of which was determined by the Player Level you achieved. The systems on live are functioning the same as they have when they were first created, however, the popup is displaying the wrong number, creating confusion.

Completing Daily Quests award gold and not Loot Chests.

Hey everyone!

We’ve gotten a lot of reports regarding Loot Chests and I wanted to take a moment to respond here. We are currently aware of a display issue that is causing the Loot Chest popup to show that you were granted more chests than you were supposed to receive. It is important to note - you are not missing a Loot Chest, this is purely a display issue and does not impact the total number of Loot Chests you receive.

Since we introduced Loot Chests and our new Progression system in Heroes 2.0, leveling up a Hero will grant different types of Loot Chests with increasing rarity depending on your player level. For each level hit, players will earn 1 Common Loot Chest, every 5 levels will then grant a Rare Loot Chest, and every 25 levels will finally unlock an Epic Loot Chest. For every 10 levels you earn for a specific Hero you will earn a Hero Specific Loot Chest for that Hero. With the exception of Special Events, Hero Specific Chests are one of the only ways to get more than 1 Loo...

This is currently a known issue with the Loot Chest popup that shows after games. You are only supposed to receive one Loot Chest, but the popup is saying you get more.

Correct that we do have Daily Quests in the game, but Daily Quests do not award Loot Chests on completion, they award Gold.

Leveling up a Hero in the game will always level your Player Level, because your Player Level is a sum total of your Hero Levels. Your Player Level dictates the rarity of the Loot Chest you get from leveling up a Hero. Every 5 levels that chest will be Rare, and every 25 levels that chest will be Epic.

This is how the system has worked since we introduced it with Heroes 2.0, the bug showing that you are getting 2 chests is a display bug, that is causing confusion based upon the functionality that has always existed.

That UI sounds a little wonky.

Would it be possible to get a screenshot of that posted here so I can review that? I have never in my days seen that so I’m intrigued!

Would you mind giving me some additional information. I haven’t been able to reproduce this problem internally or on my personal account.

1. What Hero was it?
2. What game mode did you level to 10 in?
3. Did you have any active experience bonuses? (Boost, Partied with Friends, First Win Of The Day, etc.)
4. What chest did you end up getting? (Common, Rare, Epic)

The Rare Chest you get every 5 levels and the Epic Chest you get every 25 levels replaces the Common Loot chest you normally get from leveling, not in addition to. Your account level is the sum of your Hero levels, so you always will see your Account level move up when a Hero level does.
