7 Days To Die Dev Tracker

But NOOOOOOO get caught up slightly by a burning pipe and you become a slug in honey. Why? What part of fire causes you to slow down?

Catching on fire rarely happens in the game if you're careful but when it has happened to me I do move faster than I normally do. I rip open my menu and move that mouse cursor super fast to the water in my inventory and gulp it down. There is nothing like being a slug in honey about how fast I get to my water. Read more
Just try it and tell us what you think. You should be able to come to a decision within 30 minutes. Also Undead Legacy is still being updated and I believe is expected soon with a version that works with 1.x 7 Days to Die so there's that to look forward to as well.
If you want up or down votes as much as a discussion, OP, you could make a poll on the official forum[community.7daystodie.com].
Seriously. If you were that upset about it, you would have found these threads already.

I don't remember any alternate shoulder anim. What was it used for?

I don't recall it ever being mentioned and not planning on it.

I take that as a joke as I know of no one actually working on new weapons. We need to get the current features done and bugs fixed, not add more stuff.

There are enough threads on this already. Try looking around a bit before starting a new thread.

There is already an active thread that has been regularly posted in for almost a year now. It rarely leaves the first page of posts if you aren't using Steam's dumb listing of 15 posts, and almost never leaves the first page if you use something more reasonable.
When you posted this thread, the topic was literally the fourth thread down the list that wasn't a Pinned thread.
Try putting more effort into looking around and doing some research and reading before you start a thread and clutter the forum with duplicates.
$44.99 is way too much for this. Even in a 1.0 state. Read more

Yep. Promised after the game is finished. Game isn't finished yet. Still in Alpha too, but just left EA.

You know, power attacks don’t feel right for harvesting tools (wrench, ratchet, impact driver) because of the animation. It looks like you’re just whacking the target instead of harvesting it, so I don’t expect to get resources beyond what I’d get wailing on the target with a pickaxe. I wonder if others feel this way: that a power attack should still look like you’re manipulating the target to extract useful parts, for visual communication reasons.
As for bone knives, there’s an added trick to harvest faster. Aim at the air above the target when pressing the power attack button. You’ll trigger the ‘power melee attack’ stabbing animation, instead of the ‘harvesting power attack’ animation, which is a slower slicing across motion. So long as you aim to hit the target when the knife lands, you’ll harvest it the same either way. You can harvest a deer in one second this way. Read more
As of this writing Version 1.4, build 8, is the latest stable build. As such, it’s what everyone with the game downloads by default, unless they manually select some earlier build to play instead. Experimental builds are always opt-in only.
I’ve requested the pinned dev diary here be edited to reflect the recent news about a delay. Sorry that information got out of date.
Originally posted by IvGotBallsOfSteel: Just use msi afterburner, then you can set it to what you like or set it so it toggles on a hotkey, 72fps or uncapped like mine for example
No one should be using MSI Afterburner. The developer quit half a decade ago, it isn't supported at all anymore, and it is well known to cause crashes.

Here is the Alpha 17 Developer Diary. Go find where they stated an exact date for release, or that bandits were for sure going to be in Alpha 17.

well i wont find it now, because its been 8 years, and in that time you had time to edit and delete everything to cover yourselves, every person here is aware of your behavior
Then use the Wayback machine. The developer has never shown the kind of behavior you imply. It's just people making false claims that state that. Read more

When they say "We are aiming for", or "if all goes as planned", that is an estimate and not a promised date.
So again. Provide evidence of them actually violating that by making a direct promise, and missing it.

2. Do not make specific promises about future events. For example, there is no way you can know exactly when the game will be finished, that the game will be finished, or that planned future additions will definitely happen. Do not ask your customers to bet on the future of your game. Customers should be buying your game based on its current state, not on promises of a future that may or may not be realized.
they literally broke this rule every single update they did

Bandits were never advertised as being planned for Alpha 17. They only previewed some art for probably outfits the bandits would have.
They have been known in development since Alpha 14, but the only time they ever focused on having bandits for release was for a21, but the AI was nowhere near ready so it was set aside for later. Even then it wasn't promoted that they would be included in the update.

That might change.
