But NOOOOOOO get caught up slightly by a burning pipe and you become a slug in honey. Why? What part of fire causes you to slow down?

Catching on fire rarely happens in the game if you're careful but when it has happened to me I do move faster than I normally do. I rip open my menu and move that mouse cursor super fast to the water in my inventory and gulp it down. There is nothing like being a slug in honey about how fast I get to my water.
