But didn't Siege start out with full map access? Wasn't map rotation only implemented in years 3-4? Wouldn't it be an easy matter for them to UN-do what they did, and restore full map access?
There also weren't as many maps in the beginning of the game or as many operators. I apologize if I'm not being clear enough on how the system is integral to the development process of updates and why it is not easy for them to just add all the maps back in.

Trying to speak with all due respect but - what does that even mean? I'm trying to parse that into something we can all understand. As phrased, it both confuses and bores the reader (which may have been the whole point).
Quality Check means like QA work. Testing for game-breaking issues with added changes and resolving them prior to launch. Updates refers to anything from large seasonal patches to smaller hotfixes. Any c... Read more

Hey everyone! Just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware the blog post has been posted at this point. Here is the link for reference. The point of the blog post was to give communication on the steps we have taken to tackle these ongoing issues and share where we are in the process. It is important to understand that there are some aspects we cannot communicate much without potentially compromising the system. Not all of the issues have answers yet, but the team felt it was necessary to explain where the team is in their investigations.

The primary reason for the rotation system currently is to help with resources allocated to Quality Checking updates as well as working on reworks. We are definitely well aware of the want for full map selection and have been continuing to pass this along to the dev team in our reports.
However, the main thing to understand is it benefits updates to be processed quicker so hotfixes and other content can come out on schedule. You will need PS+ in order to play the PvP content within Siege for the Free Weekend. You should at least be able to access Lone Wolf Terrorist Hunt and the Situations without PS+.

Hi elcampeador51. In case you may not know, the MMR Rollback System is the total amount of MMR impacted by players who were banned at that time. That MMR total is not just from one player, but any players who you have played with/against during the current season who was just banned.
Let's say you played a few matches:
Won with a cheater > 50 MMR earned
Won with another cheater > 50 MMR earned
Lost against a cheater > 50 MMR lost
Rollback initiates > Remove 100 MMR from wins and give back 50 MMR from loses = -50 MMR to be removed.
We have been bringing up frustrations about losing MMR from the MMR Rollback system from a win against a cheater. The team is open into making adjustments to the system and appreciates players sharing their feedback with it. The main concern with a one-sided MMR Rollback system was inflated MMR, but the team is looking back into this. Read more

When discussing weapon skins, are you specifically talking about the Seasonal Weapon Skins? They are intended as a limited-time option that are available on weapons that are released during that season and prior, which is why some of the older skins are not an option for newer operators/weapons. I don't know if the team has the bandwidth to retroactively make those older skins apply to newer weapons. Personally I don't think it would make sense since you can't purchase those skins anymore.

It would be interesting to see! I'm not sure if this is something they are thinking of including, but it could be neat to compare discrepancies between the two charts. Do you have any theories on what the charts may look like for that skill level?

The Super Shorty reload animation has been previously reported. Just to make sure, it doesn't actually give an additional bullet, correct? It just shows that it reloads 2 in the place of 1.
