As Iceycat mentioned, there aren't any joinable custom games anymore. I do agree having the option to have open custom games would be fun! But for now, you can only invite friends to join the custom match.
I agree that communication is key in Siege especially, considering it is a team-based game. However, I don't think it is fair to alienate those who are unable to use a mic possibly due to a disability or because they don't have one. Some people have suggested a ping system similar to Apex Legends or some kind of quick bark commands for those who can't communicate properly. I've seen a few ask about the possibility of Text To Speech. As Kabe mentioned, you can't necessarily force someone to use their mic.

1st... Why do the defending team get cams and the attacking team can't use drones?The mode is supposed to fast-paced, so you aren't really supposed to rely on cams or drones.
