Gotcha. I was hoping you could complete the challenges then re roll and get a brand new set.
It's more to alleviate some pain points by letting players swap out challenges they don't like. Not so much to let players grind extra challenges.
Question about the challenge rerolls
Say you do 2/3 of the challenges then reroll, do you get a new set of 3? or does it only change the non completed one?

Yes I fixed it a few days ago so it should go out with the next client patch
You can see in the match summary screen that it counts the level up from the star challenge twice, incorrectly. So you are at the correct level, but the game mistakenly told you that you leveled up 2 times instead of 1
This is a bug with the menu counting the level up from the star challenge twice. Should be fixed in next patch
Thanks for reporting this, You can see it counts the leveling up from the star challenge twice, which is incorrect. So you really should be at level 17 and not 18

You should be at level 3. The post game menu can sometimes say you leveled up when you didn't really. This will also be fixed in the patch.
I think it's not just display issue.
I have issue with leveling up on PS4. I think I got 4th level for the 3rd time but when I go back to main menu I'm still 3rd level and I haven't received any rewards since.

Hi I looked at the video, but you did not check the "all challenges" menu so I am not sure if there is a problem that is different from the one I am describing.
Could you send a video of:
- "all challenges" menu before you play a game (showing the yellow Star/XP bar)

I am currently dealing with the 52k “visual display glitch” but believe it is more in depth than that. Any XP that I receive from a game is calculated at the end and goes towards my 52k leveling threshold. It is only when I earn 52k xp that I level up, so I need to play ~10-15 games to get a level.
The “see all challenges” menu shows “32k” xp needed to level instead of the 52k, but it does not move whatsoever when I earn ingame xp. This bar only moves in the event I complete a challenge (for Xp or an outright level up).
My origin ID is “SpaceCowboyDan”.
I will try and include screenshots later but it will just be the 52k screen and the 32k screens. I recognize your guys’ sincere efforts but it’s a bit discouraging not knowing if my progress is being saved behind the scenes as my issue is slightly different than the one you described. Furthermore I believe I am BP level 4 and can only access the cosmetics up to level 4 even though I have gained close to 150k+ xp.

So when you complete a challenge that gives stars, the bar in the "all challenges" menu goes up; but when you earn regular match XP, it does not? Please confirm that my description is correct. I will investigate.

- this looks to be purely a display issue. The XP/star display in post game screen is fully unreliable at this point. To see your actual XP/star progress, check the "see all challenges" menu
- the good news is that i believe you are still earning and leveling up as intended, behind the scenes
If anyone has information that is inconsistent with this, please let me know (send screenshots)
- e.g. if your XP progress in the "see all challenges" menu is not updating properly, let me know!

- EDIT: The "level up" sequence in the post game menu is also somewhat unreliable since it can appear that you leveled up on a lower tier of the recurring XP/star challenge when you are actually on a higher tier. Again, if someone can provide video that is inconsistent with this, please send it to me so I can review it.

I don't know how but I am getting no progress after the game - it basically rolls back every game. These are three screenshots taken exactly how they went from first to last. I ended up at the same level and with less exp than the previous one - once I even had 44 k but it rolled back to 40 300 or less ( I forgot to take the screen ).

Nobody is demanding free things. People are asking for things to be reasonably priced and to not be forced to gamble for skins and if you guys still don't understand that I don't know what else we can say.
In this thread alone, literally multiple people asked for skins to be earnable via challenges, aka free
I don’t mind dishing out money to support the team, I love the product and the work put into it. What bothers me is the price gouging. The extras shouldn’t be free, but it absolutely should not cost $20 per skin. That’s just price gouging. I would probably have spent $150+ bucks at this point if skins were $5-10 a piece. My money is mine to spend on the hobbies I love so I’d like to sink it into this game and support what you guys have created. I just wish the prices made sense at all.
You spend your money however you feel is fair. I don't mind. It's all part of how the economics of a free game is calculated.
With respect to the "price gouging", it also bugs me when people kick and scream that things are too expensive. Let's say the skins are indeed too expensive- does that give people license to kick and scream and call us "greedy fucks"?
I mean, I think a lot of things are overpriced but I don't yell at people about it.
TLDR: "this thing is too expensive so I won't buy it" is ok "This thing is too expensive so fuck you greedy fucks" is not ok

I mean, I read all the posts and that stuff was definitely out there. Watch the ign video that was posted a couple of days ago, it specifically says that they wanted to earn cosmetics via challenges. That sentiment was not uncommon.
The thing that makes me angry personally is all the people demanding more free stuff in this free update. Solos is free. The map update is free. The challenges and rewards are free. Asking for more on top of that seems pretty fucked up.
Ok I emailed around and turns out that when they turned abandon penalties off, it took forgiveness along with it. I believe a fix is incoming but I don't know exactly when. Hopefully next week since it's just a server side fix
