Hopefully the steam achievements expand overtime that increases the difficulty, Reach 2277 would be a nifty achievement :)

Unfortunately not, we've got a LOT of other goodness though. The stuff we'll usually show (progress updates etc) is still on the cards for this week. Later on stream we're hoping to show off Fishing Skill Boss and Combat Achievements progress, and tomorrow there's a nice Clans progress stream and blog coming.
We'll release a bumper one in March, and then return to monthly after that.

Will the player number on the oldschool website also show the steam players included, or only the osrs/runlite client users?
The number on our website will show Steam players too, but the number on Steam will only show Steam players.

Disappointed we're not seeing the buffs/changes to the maces, chainmail, and shields at least tomorrow. They're interesting, but the longer away they are the farther my account gets progression wise from the changes being relevant.
We're not opposed to splitting up the changes rather than one big batch. We could add the popular changes (like you mentioned) without Blowpipe and co. We're not ruling anything out.

So the new update is the 17th, but even that update does not include the Equipment rebalancing correct? so the date is still TBD on these changes?

I'm glad you enjoyed what 2020 had. I know quite a lot of players felt it was lacking, and I think that's understandable. But the team is bigger now, noobs are trained, we've adapted to remote working, and 2021 is going to be awesome.

If I can make some players happy by turning myself into different NPCs, saying dumb stuff, and spam-click spawning junk then I'll happily do that. It's been a tough year for so many, we'll do what we can to help.
