We are increasing this action limit in a patch later today just in case

Because both countries have daylight savings in different directions, it's actually an hour earlier for us and an hour later for you guys. We have to be awake at 4:30am NZ time. We intentionally get up an hour earlier so it's an hour earlier than it would otherwise would be for Europe.

Well this explains some things.

We balanced around this bug a while ago, it's just that now it's fixed and balance around again.

Just to clarify, the stat description of the mods on Rathpith on the announcement page are a bit out of date. The Spell/Spell Crit specify that they scale off "Player Life", rather than simply just "Life".

Let's just say it's not like that at all in our office currently.

So again with Chris seemingly oblivious how his game works. He says they put random mods on boss fights in delve because without them people would be bored running 500 of those boss fights so mods give some variety.

How would divine vessels fit into the 5 slot device? Unless I'm missing something there doesn't seem to be a spot for them.

I really hope this is addressed in 3.7 and not held off for 3.8

Bad launches/leagues happen when there's too much to do at the same time. Taking time away from 3.7.0 and doing stuff hastily at the last minute is probably the wrong choice. We haven't worked out yet when this potential change is going in though (or even if we're actually committing to doing it yet!)

yes, i just wish for performance improvements on the existing tools, otherwise i'm pretty happy with this, it's a divisive issue but I sticked around partly because i really liked their approach to trading.

Don't worry, reasonable improvements to tools will probably still happen.

It doesn't take much reading of the official forums or subreddit to realise that a group of Path of Exile players are angry about a number of topics and feel that we haven't given solid answers about how we're going to address these issues. We will explain as many of these topics as we can in the Q&A that is currently scheduled for later this week. However, one thing that the Q&A doesn't address is how we got here. I wanted to personally post an explanation of what has been going on behind the scenes at Grinding Gear Games that led to this state.

Synthesis was more work than we expected. It was developed over the Christmas holiday, and its gameplay prototype came in very late. We are making various experimental changes to the animation system that should help resolve these concerns and really tighten up the feel of melee combat.

In addition to animation system improvements and melee skill rebalances, we are experimenting with changes to systems such as accuracy, melee splash, leech, fortify, various Ascendancy classes, the passive tree, hit/miss feedback, melee base types, movement skills and melee damage availability on items.

Holy shit, and I thought this stuff was reserved for 4.0.0 when you talked about new rigging/animations/models during a Baeclast episode.

Like our engine improvements, if we can release fundamental improvements made for 4.0.0 early to make the game better right now, we will absolutely do so.
