This weekend, we released Path of Exile: Betrayal, our largest expansion of 2018. Despite a few server issues in the first hours, it was one of our smoothest launches ever and hit peak player concurrency of 188,970 users (123,565 of those on Steam). This is 28% higher than our previous best-ever launch and is a record we're planning to break again in the future.Thank you so much to the new and returning players who joined us to celebrate this release. Buying and selling items or accounts for real money or external currencies (such as Forum Gold) is not allowed and we will ban people who attempt to engage in it in-game or on the pathofexile.com forums.
The following things are examples of behaviour that could get you banned under this rule:

• Posting a trade thread where you ask for things other than Path of Exile items in exchange for your gear.


• Offering people money or external currencies in exchange for their Path of Exile items or accounts.


• Advertising external item sales sites. It's best to avoid mentioning them by name.


• Running a service where you sell items or accounts to people for things other than Path of Exile items.

We've had numerous posts being promoted by automated responses, so we've now implemented rules related to 'bumping' threads:

You are also able to view your season and events history on your profile page, under the Seasons & Events section.
Race leagues are special short duration events that we run periodically to let players play in a clean economy and compete for prizes.
The league will generally be open for character creation 30 minutes before the start of the competition. To enter, just make a new character in the league described in its appropriate thread. New characters must be created in the correct league to be eligible for prizes.
In hardcore leagues, characters who die will be moved out into the Standard league immediately. After the end of the league, characters that are still alive will be moved back into the normal Hardcore league. This process may take up to an hour.
At the end of the event, we will award the prizes to a Remove-Only Stash Tab that is accessible from any league. The item can only be removed in one leag... Read more

We're pleased to announce that we will start making these Private Leagues available for purchase next week. Path of Exile on PlayStation 4 Release Delay

When we announced Path of Exile for PlayStation 4 earlier this month, we indicated we were aiming for a December release. Unfortunately, we have had to revise this to early February. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this causes, because we know there are many players looking forward to this release.We underestimated the amount of work it would take to finish the certification process during the busy Christmas period. While we hope to have everything ready in January, we feel a lot more comfortable promising early February as a target release window. This will also give us time to work on game performance/frame rate, which we feel could be improved before release.Again, we're very sorry about this.
