I checked with the team as some of the scaling changes from 7.3.5 also impacted your question. As long as you have Party Sync activated, you are scaled to the appropriate level band, and there shouldn’t be a negative impact on experience.

And in case it helps, when I say ‘experience’ above, this applies to both quest turn in experience (which shouldn’t be impacted anyway) as well as monster-killing-experience.

The names of the forums line up with what you see in the Battle.net App. We know it may take people a little getting used to and a lot of people are just settling into WoW Classic, but we will continue to moderate and move Classic discussions to their appropriate forum (https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/c/wow-classic/classic-discussion) but understand that it can be challenging when people are comparing one to the other.

The Warfront zone mounts have treated me the best. I’m not doing great overall but it has been enough to push me past 400 total, so that was cool.

We’ve been closely following the community discussion around this add-on for WoW Classic, as well as analyzing it to make sure we understand how it works. After careful examination, we believe the nature of ClassicLFG is incompatible with our social design for Classic. Thus, in an upcoming patch (in the weeks following launch), we will be adding restrictions to the Classic add-on API that will significantly limit this add-on and others like it.

In line with what we shared at BlizzCon last year, we intend to be very careful about allowing add-on functionality that might undermine aspects of the social dynamics that are core to the Classic experience, even in cases like this where it’s clear that the addon author had no ill intent and was simply trying to provide a service to the Classic community. Ultimately, if a streamlined group-finding system was something we considered compatible with Classic, we would have kept the modern Premade Group Finder tool rather than choosing to remove it...

Since our last update, we have continued to see the community create new characters in preparation for the launch of WoW® Classic next week. During this process, we have seen a regular trend where characters keep being made on Full realms. Each of the Full realms has a LOT of characters to the extent that it may be more than can fit into the queue system. As a result, you may not be able to get into the queue when you want to play and even if you do, it will likely be a very long wait. For a better play experience, we highly recommend that players avoid creating characters on any realm marked as Full.

Additionally, at this time, based on their expected population and queues, we strongly advise people to move off the following realms:

• Herod – PvP
• Faerlina – PvP
• Whitemane – PvP

Mankrik added to the ‘Full’ list.

The existing PvP realms all now have either a Full or High population tag. With the potential for extended queues on the Full realms, and 10,000+ queues on Herod, we are opening two new PvP realms on Monday, August 19 at 6:00 p.m. PDT:

• Blaumeux – PvP – Pacific Time Zone
• Skeram – PvP – Eastern Time Zone

We urge players on PvP realms to consider moving to one of these realms. Doing so will help spread the player population as evenly as possible before launch and provide the best play experience for everyone.

Thalnos is now showing as Full as well.

Faerlina - PvP is now showing as Full in the realm selection screen.

As of now, a large number of WoW Classic characters have been created on the following realms. Players with characters on this realm are likely to experience severe queues at release.

• Faerlina - PvP
• Herod - PvP
• Pagle - Normal
• Thalnos - PvP
• Whitemane - PvP

We have updated the algorithm for the realm population tags so they more accurately reflect the expected population for that realm. The realms that are listed as “Full” are where we expect to see extended queues. If you’re concerned about long queue times affecting your play experience, you may want to consider creating characters on a lower population realm before the game releases on August 26 at 3:00 p.m. PDT.

Good idea… New WoW Classic Realm Opening Today

If you delete a character during the name reservation period, the name of the deleted character will be available for others to use right away. This is how it works in the live game as well. Only characters listed on the character creation screen will have their names reserved and you won’t be able to hold additional names by deleting characters.
