There is an update to the app that came today with Rise of Azshara/8.2. It may take a while for the update to propagate out but we have confirmed that people are receiving it. Keep an eye out for updates on your device and you will be able to use the app again soon.

Thanks for mentioning this btw, we are currently looking into it.

Rise of Azshara is almost here!

We’ve seen a little bit of confusion on some areas that we wanted to help clarify.

If you were seeing other characters drop in and out of your view while you were playing during the stress test, we were manually doing things to make it more stressful and test as much as possible. This phase is over for the evening but we still need to know your thoughts and feedback on the experience you have on the four realms that are available. Please please please remember to include which realm you are playing on when providing your feedback.

We have also seen that some confusion on how to know if you are able to access the stress test. Everybody with an active game account is able to play it. You should see “World of Warcraft Classic” in your version drop down menu.

And last, if you haven’t done so recently, make sure your Battle.net App is up to date. If there is a green bar along the bottom you’ll want...

We will soon have 4 realms total, 2 PvP and 2 Normal that will be up and online overnight. Please continue to login, test the content, and provide your feedback (just don’t forget to provide which realm you are on).

Logging in and stressing the servers helps us a lot. The goal here is to deliver an appropriate play experience on August 27.

The level 15 caps means you won’t go into contested zones unless you really want to. Thank you for logging in and helping us with this stress test.

You can just head to The Shimmering Flats in Thousand Needles and imagine it, no? Or you can fly over there in the current game if that helps too.
