Read moreThere is currently a sale ongoing which places the Celebration Edition near the same price line as Standard Edition, however Standard edition is there as an option for those that would prefer to grind through gameplay to get all the appearances, emotes, voice lines etc. :)
Ofcourse, Celebration Edition is the way to go with all that shiny waiting for you as soon as you load up though!
As we've already stated, we have a CT on its way during the latter half of this month which will be covering details and abilities about the incoming Astromech Heroes. The update which will bring those heroes into the game is still on course for this month too.
Usually, a Community Transmission covering what to expect from the new additions happens before the update.
We've a planned Community Transmission incoming during the latter half of this month which will be covering the new Astromech Heroes, after that has gone live we'll be looking to push the update live. Some of the team from DICE are still on vacation, once we're all back at it and are in full swing you'll start to see us ramp up communication once again.
Unfortunately this is not on our immediate radar right now, but we do continue to field the feedback and requests through when we come across them. Sorry!
Came here for droid gameplay, was not disappointed. One of the best reinforcements one could choose if you want to take down some heavy targets.
I can corroborate the broken Gonk droids that are broken and clipping all over the place. Otherwise, you guys have turned a game that once made me sad to see the battlefront title ruined to me and my friend group’s squad game of choice!

is there a suggestion box for suggestions somewhere where DICE and EA can read?
We tend to have eyes on almost every platform you can imagine, so here is just fine, also our Community Forums, Discord, Answers HQ, even Twitter etc.
A question. Does the Night Ops event mean that you’re adding new night maps to the game? Or is the event only allowing us to play on the maps that already have a night variant? If you’re adding new night maps, can we expect them to stay in the game even after the event? Thank you.
This event is very similar to the one we had done around October time of last year, no intention to introduce new night maps at the moment.
Does this mean the update has been delayed?
While sometimes in the past we have added the updates to the calendar, the calendar is usually for community events - not to indicate updates.
Update hasn't been delayed and as indicated in the original thread - we've got a Community Transmission on the way during the latter half of the month which will detail the astromechs a little more with expected abilities etc. Usually, that sort of CT takes place ahead of an update :)
So can we have a time span when bb8 and bb8e are planned to come into the game?

has it really been 14 days of 3xp? I seem to keep going back and fourth getting 2xp and 3xp all this past week.
Double XP happens by default, every Wednesday - this, unfortunately, had a conflict with the ongoing 14 Days of Triple XP event every time a Wednesday came around. I'll be making the suggestion to have a Triple XP event at some point in the coming months.
This is such awesome support for a very well made game. This game had so much potential when it released and I’m so happy it lived up to it. I see a lot of people always begging for more content but I’d just like to say to the devs you’ve done an amazing job and earned some time off. I played the original battlefronts religiously as a kid- if I had been able to see gameplay of this game at its current state back then I would be astounded. Thank you for listening to the community, I hope this sets a new standard for game developers.
