Please try changing your password for your EA account and try logging in once again, this should resolve the issue you're experiencing.

Tomorrow (May 27) at 7AM UTC the Star Wars Battlefront II servers will be offline for maintenance and will be brought back online at 8AM UTC.
Gameplay will be affected during the time stated above, this downtime is not to deploy the previously discussed patch. More information on that will be shared at a later time.

So is this the entirety of the small patch Ben mentioned on Twitter? I thought they’d at least address some of the bugs with the new update.

We're making some changes to the way events work within the game. Going forward events are on a set schedule throughout the week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).
Starting on May 11th 2020, the following events will take place ingame from 00:01 CET and expire the following day at 06:00 CET.
Mondays - Fast Spawn Event
Description: Spawn timers will be set to 1 sec long in assault modes for the duration of the event
Game Modes: Galactic Assault, Capital Supremacy, Starfighter Assault, Extraction and Strike

Hey there, I believe you would still have an EA account while playing on the PlayStation 4. All your data during online gameplay would be sent through to EA servers. Things do get a little bit tricky if you are unsure on the details of this account though.
The current suggestion to resolve the "This account is invalid" issue would be to create a new password for your EA account. You can click this link here and try inputting some of your usual email addresses into this to see if you receive a forgot password email from EA. If that works and you get a new password, it should let you back into the game. If it doesn't, give that process another try after 90 minutes has elapsed.
If after all of that, you're still not able to log in OR you're unable to locate your EA account in the first place, I would suggest you contact EA Help via the contact us option here, leave a short description of your issue and the team will get back to you as soon as possible to try and identify your account /...
