Members can change their name once each month. Once you change your name you'll see a countdown until the next time you can change it.
You can redeem a bond (by choosing the option for name change) to reset the timer.
If you did redeem a bond then it's possible you chose the wrong option (like the membership instead).

Using that option essentially "resets" the name change timer. If you don't change your name and you regain your regular monthly reset (I'm presuming you're a member) then I guess the Bond would essentially be wasted. It's not banked. If you don't end up using it I'd recommend contacting the payment support team to see whether they might credit you for the 14 days membership instead.
