You're welcome! :)

You might have more luck making a post in the Workshop Discussions. Not sure many people who might have some ideas pop in this thread. :)

I recommend you post about this on the official support forums. A BSOD is very unusual and there's probably better help there than here.

Let's keep this contructive please. :)
Make sure you have a nice big pagefile set up. I recommend a custom one at 32 GB. That should hopefully help with the crashing.

Keep an eye out for that error though as it could indicate problems with your RAM. Hopefully it's just running out of virtual memory though, so setting up your pagefile will do the trick. Read more
Hey City Builders!
We're coming to you today with a brand new live stream series - Community Challenges.
In each episode LeaderOfTheMonkeys will attempt to build a specific location in only one hour. Hopefully, without going too crazy with the number of mods and assets ;)
Last week we tackled a Japanese Garden challenge and you can already watch it below.
Tomorrow we're going to witness a speed build of a race track! Make sure to tune in on September 29th at 3pm CEST / 9am EDT on Twitch and YouTube.

https://twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive
After the episode look out for our poll on the Steam forum - you will be able to choose what we're going to build next time!
Lastly let's take a look at the moodboard for the race track!

This one works for cargo stations. There's also a harbor one.

When the game doesn't see the save file despite it being in the folder, it usually means the file got corrupted. It's fairly rare but it can happen (and sucks!). Best thing is to do like snowflitzer describes and always save as a new file, so you have the older versions in case something goes wrong.
Do you perhaps have an autosave of the city that you could use instead? You might lose a bit of progress ofc, but that's better than losing the entire city.
If there aren't a style or a theme (when you use the Building Themes mod) assigned to a district, then the game will just pick buildings out of all possible growables. So if you don't want that, you will need to either use styles (which come with the game) or the mod Building Themes to restrict what can grow in a district.
Styles can only contain buildings from the workshop and are pretty flexible. If a type, size or level of building is missing, the game will just pick a random one to add. So things will always grow and work, but you have less control.
Building Themes let's you create themes on the fly in your city, and you can pick both workshop and default buildings for them. It's more restrictive though. Only things in a building theme can appear in a district - so if a theme has no office buildings, no office buildings will spawn. You can have multiple themes for a district though, so you could make a generic theme for stuff you want all over the city and mix it with more spec... Read more
Move It can delete full landfills if you don't want to wait for them to empty. If I remember right, so can the Better Bulldoze mod.
Parks should be fine to be placed outside park areas - they just need road access when that's done. If you can't do that, then it sounds like a mod is doing something it shouldn't, and we'd need a full list of your mods to help.
A building would be needed yes, especially since it also needs a spawn marker and internal invisible paths to work. You can use some empty buildings to kinda make your own in game, but depending on what you're looking to make, it might not be completely possible.
Are you looking to make a cargo station or a passenger station?
Interesting! Sounds like a bug in Prop It Up. It's worth keeping an eye on Prop Switcher. Right now tree swapping is disabled until a bug is fixed, but once that's back in, I would try switching to it. Hopefully it wouldn't have those bugs.

Does your mods and assets show up in the Content Manager ingame? Does the default mods? It might be Steam not connecting properly after the game was moved.
You generally never want an airport right under the plane paths. It might not seem logical, but it actually really messes with the plane AI. The airport will connect an invisible path to the plane path when placed. Using Move It on an airport can mess with that (if you have moved the airport with Move It, rebuild it or use the default tool to move buildings).
What map are you using? And can you show us the plane paths that existed already, before you edited them?

That is 81 tiles. Unlock all tiles in one go, then it will stop sinking. Each time you buy a new tile, they drop a little further. Afaik there isn't a fix for it other than just getting all tiles and fixing the metro (or living with it being very deep). Read more
It's a special track that's used in asset creation of station buildings. If you aren't making a station asset, then you should just ignore that it exists.
Do you have a program to check the temperatures of your graphics card? If not then you can use a free one like speccy to check it. The graphics card is definitely having problems, which it shouldn't with those launch options in. :/
Please try the steps in this thread, and if that doesn't help, follow the instructions at the bottom to contact Paradox Support.

Do you have Ploppable RICO? It kinda sounds like they accidentally have RICO settings, which you would need to remove through the mod's Settings panel.
This happens when the files storing that info get corrupted, which is usually something that happens when exiting the game when RAM usage is high. It's not consistent and afaik it doesn't happen in the unmodded game.
It's the gameSettings.cgs and/or userGameState.cgs that get reset. Both files are found here: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines
I make backups of mine and keep elsewhere for when it happens. I also find that it happens less when I end the process instead of exiting the game (just make sure saving has completely finished - "packaging" in the top right corner has to disappear). You can also use the Instant Return to Desktop mod to quit faster and more efficiently, which seems to lower the chance of this happening. Read more
The only difference between the two Loading Screen mods is that Test has a bit more logging, so it's easier for the modder to troubleshoot issues. I recommend just using the normal version. The most important thing is to only have one of them subscribed.
Sounds like we're hunting for a mod. I'd be happy to take a look at your mods and see if I can help narrow it down. The easiest way for me to do that is to have a look at your output_log.txt.
Here's where to find it. To easily find the local files for the game, right click your game in the Steam library, select Properties, go to the Local Files tab and select Browse local files.
\SteamApps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data\output_log.txt
As we can't attach files here on Steam, you will need to upload the file somewhere else. Here's a few sites you can upload it to, which do not require you to sign up first:
https://uploadfiles.io/ - free, no sign-up, can handle large log files
https://paste.ee/ - fast, no sign-up required (some log fi...
