CPU performance optimizations, especially on high player counts

It will help, but Castello is still due for an optimization pass

we'd definitely have to be careful to add it in a way that doesn't overlap with existing weapons and just add bloat. we already have like 30 swords as well, so we're looking to add new weapons that are not similar to existing ones

Removal of mods?

we had to nuke clientside mods :|

sucks because like 99.9% were harmless, but other people made couching mods and ran around one-shotting people with spears and stuff

the issue with a brigandine + placard (plackart?) is that you just don't really know what tier it would be, is it medium or heavy?

It's something we had in the early prototype (slasher) but was removed because in most cases it just looked silly. At this point in time it would be more or less impossible to introduce this, since we've already built the gore + armor system, character models etc. around the current level of dismemberment and it would require us to re-do massive amounts of the game to add it.

We're looking into the issue. If you guys have server names + logs, that would help us figure out the problem :)

They're definitely 60 tick. That being said we're working on routing issues that are introducing ping and packet loss into play, so we're trying to get that sorted.
