If your currency is not listed, no change has been made. Please note the prices for the Tech Future Pack, Frozen Legends Pack, and Polar Legends Pack have not yet been adjusted, and prices for these offers will be updated similarly by the end of January 2022, or when they are available again in a future rotation. Live from Party Royale’s Big Screen, see the world premiere of a new movie trailer for TENET, the upcoming film from acclaimed director Christopher Nolan. The Agency has a new assignment for you! Beginning today, jump into our new Spy Games mode Operation: Infiltration.

Highly-confidential Intel Cases are scattered across the Island, and in the wrong hands, it could lead to serious consequences. In 8v8 matches, extract an Intel Case from the other team’s turf — or prevent your Case from reaching the invading team’s destination!  Swap sides after each round and claim victory by winning three rounds out of four. After completing a round, you’ll secure Intel that unlocks special upgrades for yourself known as Tech. Secure more of this Intel by winning the round or the whole match! You can use the Tech you unlock in one Spy Game across all the others, giving yourself new weapons and abilities. Today we’re excited to confirm that Fortnite will be headed to next-generation consoles at launch. This is the same Fortnite you know and love, ready to take full advantage of the newest consoles.

We’ll be sharing more specific details in the coming months as we get closer to launch. Before then, here are some answers to a few questions you might have.

Is this an all-new Fortnite?

No, this is not a new version of Fortnite. It’s Fortnite optimized to take advantage of the new hardware and features on next-gen consoles.

How will Fortnite take advantage of next-gen console hardware?

While we can’t share specifics at the moment, more powerful hardware will allow us to improve performance and visuals. At launch, the version of Fortnite we release on next-gen consoles will be built with Unreal Engine 4. We will migrate Fortnite to Unreal Engine 5 in mid-2021.

Let’s get ready to party! The Party Royale Premiere arrives on Friday, May 8, at 9 PM ET.

Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, and deadmau5 are coming to Party Royale with back-to-back-to-back sets LIVE on the big screen at the Main Stage. Hit the dance floor, chill with friends, or jump into activities in Party Royale.

No RSVP Necessary 

If you can’t make it right at 9 PM ET, you can still catch the rest of the live show as long as you join before it ends at 10 PM ET.

Bring on the Encore

If you're still busy, don’t worry — the Party Royale Premiere will return for a rebroadcast. On May 9 from 2 PM to 3 PM ET, you can catch the full show once again at the Main Stage.

There’s a new Spy Game for the Chapter 2 - Season 2 rotation. Your latest assignment is Operation: Payload!

Valuable Intel has been spotted in a mysterious truck on the Island. As part of a team of eight, take turns either escorting the truck to its destination… or stopping the truck at all costs! Finishing a round will secure you Intel to unlock more Tech, which consists of essential gear and special skills to add to your Spy Games arsenal. Obtain extra Intel by winning the round or the entire match! You can use your Tech across all Spy Games, and with that Tech, you can upgrade yourself in ways unique to the Spy Games. For example: take up the new Sharpened Stick ability to charge your Pickaxe’s power — or equip the recent Agile Aim to stay fleet-footed when focusing on opponents. Deadpool has decided it’s time to move out of The Agency. As his “best friend” — at least for now — it goes without saying that it’s your responsibility to help him pack. In his Week 9 Challenges, collect his unmentionables and salute his pants to unlock the X-Force style of the Deadpool Outfit! 

You don’t have to worry about driving him to the airport, though, for the X-Force has arrived to rally the infamous Merc. Wreak heroic havoc and squad up the X-Force, including: 

• Cable, the time-displaced, battle-hardened leader of the X-Force. 
• Psylocke, the telekinetically-enhanced master martial artist. 
• And Domino, the elite mercenary with luck always on her side.

All three and their gear are now available in the Item Shop!

You’ve been activated to check out Chapter 2 - Season 2’s spy-based, rotating LTM missions. Your action-packed assignments are Operation: Dropzone and Operation: Knockout!

In Operation: Dropzone, fight 20 vs 20 to get 150 eliminations before the other team, all while facing off in smaller Storm circles and securing Intel to unlock new gameplay items called Tech.

And in Operation: Knockout, compete in a tournament of one-on-one Squad or Duo battles to see which team comes out on top. The winning teams get more Intel for more Tech!

Tech includes special skills and gear that can only be used in the Spy Games — such as a Jetpack and the Double Jump ability. We've also just added a lot more Tech, like the flinch-reducing Strong Resolve ability, and we'll be adding even more in the future. Your unlock progress carries throughout the whole Season, so grab your Tech and upgrade your gameplay!
