Since the release of Havoc two weeks ago, it has become apparent that certain player groups have utilized both market manipulation as well as repeatedly destroyed their own characters (in some cases hundreds of times) in order to farm large amounts of Malakim Zealots Loyalty Points (LP) way faster than intended. Warnings have already been issued to the groups that were the biggest offenders along with confiscation of the LP and Blueprints that was acquired in this way.

Any groups that are found to be manipulating the market to increase the amount of LP gained from destroying friendly targets, or repeatedly farming large amounts of friendly targets, will be punished in accordance with our exploit section of the EVE Online Terms of Service.

Likewise, this exploit is now once again included in our Known & Declared Exploits list.

With Havoc's arrival earlier this week, CHAOS has certainly been the theme many in the community embraced, all over New Eden!

Aligning with Pirates

Players can now choose to enlist with either the Angel Cartel or the Guristas Pirates.

• Players can enlist with the Angel Cartel or the Guristas Pirates in any station which is owned by them. Angel Cartel stations can be found in Curse and Fountain regions, while Guristas stations can be found in the Venal region.

• A minimum standings requirement of -2 or better without standings modifications is required to join.

• The Angel Cartel are at war with the Amarr Empire and the Minmatar Republic, while the Guristas Pirates are at war with the Caldari State and the Gallente Federation.

You can now get 2 for 1 on all Skill Extractors and Alpha Injectors in the EVE Store. This 2 for 1 offer will be available from 9-14 November, in celebration of Singles Day 2023.

We have bid Crimson Harvest a fond farewell, and now it’s time to start getting ready for snowstorms and festive challenges. Winter Nexus comes to New Eden on 5 December, and brings with it the Yoiul festival, with its traditional gifts, games and glory. EVE Online support for Windows 7 and 8 will end on December 7. After this date, you’ll need to have either Windows 10 or 11 installed in order to play EVE Online.

Being able to focus our support on Windows 10 and beyond allows us to increase development speed and ensure EVE remains a safe and secure experience for everyone. Working with the latest technology platforms also means more amazing features for EVE, as we head into the game’s third decade.

This change provides the opportunity to unlock further security features in the launcher, and gives more flexibility to choose external solutions as we develop EVE and its foundations further.
