Any update on this u/Cozmo23? Pretty please?

I checked on it. Looks like it's not something we are going to be able to fix. Sorry about that.

Pretty sure this is from the bungie.net issues they had yesterday and had to take it offline or something. Log out/in should help buy maybe there’s still some residual stuff going on

We had to forcibly sign everyone out yesterday, and that sometimes doesn't work all that well depending on the app - sometimes you'll get in a weird state where your app will think it is signed in but it really isn't. We'll try to improve that in the future in case we have to do that again.

We're fine. How are you?

(Stay tuned to @BungieHelp for updates.)

Looks like we missed a pretty important patch note.

Seasonal armor counts.

Depending on the round, the enemy composition may be different. More majors/less redbars. Sometimes, you'll encounter different enemies to fight against that may require a different approach. Ex: Rushing into a sea of Cabal Legionaries could turn out well, but running into a wall of Cabal Turrets? Might result in the need for a rez.

There are no handicap systems or hidden modifiers to make enemies hit you harder.

Are you seeing differences where enemies are requiring more damage to take down? A redbar dreg in one round taking more shots than another redbar dreg? Throw us videos if that's the case.

Hey /u/dmg04 or /u/cozmo23

How are ya?

I know it's old news but I gotta ask: Is the triumph "Perfect Gambit" functioning as intended? The triumph text and the actual thing you need to do to unlock it don't match. The text reads as follows:

"As a fireteam, win a Gambit match 2–0 with 75 Motes deposited in each round and no player losing any Motes."

But what you actually need to do is win a Gambit match with exactly 75 motes each round (Which to be fair it does say) but with no player dying at all. Which means if you die, you still can't get the triumph even if you didn't lose any motes. Nobody can die while invading, being invaded, suicide, nada.

I'd appreciate some input on whether or not there's any plans to change/fix it or if it's working as intended before suffering through grinding for it.

Thanks a lot, you guys are great!

I just checked. It's getting fixed next Season and will work how the description reads and no longer fail if someone dies.

Could you guys please clarify what this Recluse nerf actually does? The wording is incredibly awkward.

When Master of Arms procs there will be a damage buff to both precision and body damage, but it will not longer make every shot count as precision.

Destiny’s community is large and varied. Everyone is a little different in terms of how they defeat the Darkness. We have heard a lot of stories over the years about conquering challenges, meeting new friends, and the various ways that Destiny has touched your lives. We’d like to hear more! This isn’t a contest. It’s a way for us to get to know you better, and to hear about the kinds of in-game moments that have made the largest impact on you.

So if you’re up to it, share your most memorable moments of Destiny – anything that made you feel:

  • A sense of tremendous achievement
  • A sense of belonging
  • Devastated or heartbroken
  • Utter domination
  • A human connection
  • Like laughing until you cried
  • The moment you knew you loved this game!

Thank you for being such an amazing community. We look forward to hearing more of your stories.

Thanks for the post. We've seen a few stories similar to this. While I cannot make the promise of RNG protection being added to previous raids, I can say that we're bringing this feedback to the development team.

Additionally, Anarchy is planned to receive an increase to drop chances in a future update. Want to set proper expectations, it should match the change we made to One Thousand Voices, which is currently at a 10% chance.

Stay tuned for official patch notes in the case something changes between now and then.

Give me the link to your forum post and I will look into it. Thanks!

The community isn't very sympathetic to that argument at the moment. Like, you guys did make NF exclusive loot. There is a Scarlet Keep themed sparrow and a Vex themed ghost... but they're both Eververse exclusive. I get that those two teams are probably separate, but that is only an explanation about why it did happen, not a satisfactory justification about why it needed to happen.

People are not going to be happy with the Eververse so long as its perceived to be draining content. An easy way to pre-empt this concern is committing to maintain certain features between seasons and make it clear what is getting cut and what those resources are being put towards well before it happens.

This is indeed feedback that the team has heard. Before getting into this, I want say clearly, we did not take these rewards from activities and move them to eververse.

To give a bit of context, there were goals to make the entire season/shadowkeep launch feel unified by having items in the Eververse be Vex/Scarlet Keep themed. We have been looking at the feedback and understand how this led to the perception that the rewards were taken from activities, rather than created specifically for purchase.

There will always be a drive in development to have Eververse items feel tied to the Destiny universe, but we can be much better at ensuring they don't feel too thematically tied to activities/gameplay rewards.

They do work with Trace Rifles but Reserves, Scavenger, & Ammo Finder purposefully don't work.

I can follow up with the team to give feedback on the missing mods.

Team's been looking into this. Thanks for the feedback!

Why not both?

Time, resources, etc.

Create a weapon for a NF which is becoming a masterwork/exotic grind, or create a unique weapon for the Raid?

There isn't always a 1:1 comparison, but it's something to help frame the scenario. We don't have the ability to create unique weapons for every single activity in the game each release, so there has to be prioritization while factoring in every reward available per activity.

Thank for the feedback. Want to get a bit more on your feelings here.

In Year 1, we had a bit of feedback that Nightfalls didn't feel rewarding enough, thus Uniques/Emblems/Scoring were brought into the fold. Feedback was given that the weapons were great, but the cosmetic rewards (ghosts, sparrows, ships) weren't as desirable. Forsaken added a few weapons w/ random rolls that helped to address this.

Moving into Shadowkeep, Nightfalls became a repeatable grind to earn Masterwork materials, and Exotics w/ random rolls. Do you feel that this isn't as rewarding as a a single weapon?

Thanks a ton.

Hey all, We're continuing to collect Crucible feedback. Wanted to open the floor for your thoughts on Vostok. This map in particular receives a range of feedback, from spawns to objective placement. Please lend your thoughts on the following:

  • What modes do you find this map to be most enjoyable?
  • What modes do you find this map to be the least enjoyable?
  • Have you encountered any out of map exploits?
  • Have you had issues with spans (proximity to enemies, spawning opposite of your team, etc)
  • Anything else you'd like to add?

If you have any specific videos that illustrate your feedback, feel free to provide them in a reply. Cheers!

I'll pass along this feedback. Thanks for sharing!

Welcome! Let us know what you think of Shadowkeep.

Thanks, we will look into it.

Edit: I spoke with the dev team and this is by design. We were trying to address the problem of when you have 1 shared life left and everyone dies at once through a Multikill, who gets to come back and use that last life for the Team?

When a Multikill happens, there is no simple way to understand who died first, so we don’t know who “deserves” to come back. Instead of being frustrated at the teammate who got magically chosen to be brought back in, we decided it was better to revive everyone. It is an infrequent edge case, and we felt it was a better team experience to not have to be angry at your teammates because they got in and you didn’t.

Feel free to give any feedback on this but that's the current thinking. Thanks!

Me and my friends have been experiencing long black screens at the start of crucible matches where the game just hangs. The text displaying the name of the map and the location stays on screen though. This only ever happened rarely before.

Going into weapon and armor details to do things like apply shaders or mods seems to bring with it severe fps drops until I leave the character menu and reopen it. I'm on a PS4 Pro with an SSD.

This is an issue we are aware of and tracking.
