Thanks for the info. Pretty obvious at this point that you have strict instructions not to mention "Trials" or anything related to it.

Re: Trials

We've had a few blog posts talking about Trials of the Nine being on indefinite hiatus, and Luke speaking to what worked and what didn't in one of the Director's Cut blog articles.

This season, Elimination is returning as a static mode that you can play at any time. We collected a lot of feedback from Crucible Labs over the last season, and we'll continue to look at how the mode plays this season with upcoming Sandbox changes and other things. You bet your ass I'll be in there.

Please continue to sound off with what works and what doesn't. Maps, mode settings, weapons, armor, etc.

This isn't a promise, just a note that we see your feedback and are passing it along.

I don't get how you're allowed to sign your comments O.o

I don't know why I do this sometimes. Maybe it's because of an old Mythic Bungie.net member that I remember from time to time who always signed their posts.

Hey all,

At Shadowkeep launch, we refreshed the Crucible nodes, added a Solo playlist for Comp, refactored Glory gains, and started curating Crucible maps to pull ones that weren't performing well out of rotation for some love. This was the beginning of our work on Crucible over the next year, and we are far from done.

In Season of Dawn, we'll be reintroducing Rusted Lands, bringing Elimination to a static playlist node available at all times, and doing a bit of Sandbox work to refresh how Crucible gameplay feels. A few weeks back, we previewed the changes for OEM and Recluse, which may shift the sandbox around a bit. On top of that, we have a slew of new legendary weapons, exotic armor pieces, and subclass changes which we hope will push players to new builds. We'll also have a few maps returning to rotation with fixes to spawns and other issues, with a selection of maps being removed. We'll have some details on that in the TWAB later this afternoon.

As for Masterwork materials, w...

Hey all,

Thanks for the post. Last season, we were getting feedback that players wanted Armor 2.0 variants of older Vanguard/Crucible armor, and previously featured Iron Banner sets.

At Shadowkeep launch, Vanguard/Crucible featured Destiny 2 launch sets, which will be updated to Forsaken sets in Season of Dawn. Additionally, the Destiny 2 launch Iron Banner will be returning with Armor 2.0 functionality.

As for the desire of armor vendor refreshes, we are continuing to pass this feedback along to the dev team.

/u/dmg04 and I have spoken to the team about this. We've mentioned that it's tough for players who prefer PVP to MW currently since the higher tier materials are not available in PVP activities. Nothing is set in stone, but they are aware of the request.

Real talk, I sent Jonathan To a crying emoji when I was plugging this in to go out on the site. So wholesome.

The narrative team did a great job on these - look forward to everyone getting to read the rest of them.

Even the "new" iron banner armor is recicled. Im very frustrated that the pvp aspect of the game is getting worse and worse and bungie is just ignoring it. They just do some little tweeks here and there and call it a day. The gunplay is so good, but the game modes, balance and overall experience are so trash it doesnt make me want to comeback and play pvp.

game modes, balance and overall experience are so trash it doesnt make me want to comeback and play pvp.

What aspects of each do you find enjoyable, or to be a negative experience? Give me details.

  • Game modes - What's good? What's ugly?
  • Balance - What needs looking at, what feels good right now?
  • Maps - What maps feel good, which maps need work? Have videos showing the issues? Throw 'em at me!

I remember the first time someone pointed this out to me in a playtest, a jaw drop kind of moment.

"The madlads did it" is probably the only family friendly version of what came out of my mouth that day.

Agreed.

Why is Rusted Lands so exciting?

There's a lot of Rust.

And Land.

CASTIG8TOR

RUSTED LANDS

Rusted Lands is back

Pretty insane

Webpage for Season of Dawn is up

Whatever that scout rifle is, it looks sick.

Can confirm, sick.

Hey all,

This sparrow was pulled before the season launched, but it looks like we missed the image. Many apologies.

The sparrow will be available through Eververse in a future season.

We let the dev team know that there is still feedback on making Warlocks have the same speed between melees as the other classes.

Cozmo23

Hey cozmo, You know there is a major issue that is being reported on the front page and your community team hasn't even acknowledged that its been passed along as feedback yet right? Can you guys start actually putting in some effort to make it seem like you actually give a shit about the game? Go look at the GW2 Subreddit on how not to respond to feeback and then go look at the POE subreddit one what to actually do. Its actually a fucking travesty that an issue that has been in the game FOR 2 YEARS doesnt even get a yes "Yes acknowledged well pass it along to the team." but you responded 3 times to this fucking joke of a post. I know you dont' work on the issues of the game but you guys are the first responders for us to see that an issue has been acknowledged and at the moment it looks like the dev team gives literally 0 shits. Christ.

What was the issue you wanted to make sure I passed along?

This will be fixed next Tuesday in the next update with Season of Dawn.

  • Fixed a rare issue where the ?????? quest item from the mission "A Mysterious Disturbance" could get stuck in inventory; it has been removed from affected players

We should all page them to increase the odds of them viewing the thread

Please look at the OPs thread and help this poor guardian out.

We let Player Support know to look into it. Thanks.
