Warlocks blink breaks in season of dawn, still no official response about it being addressed.
We're also investigating the issue with switching weapons and sprinting affecting Blink.
How will this work? Will there be a way to claim a new rocket launcher, or will the fix change the perk for ones that have already been claimed? Thanks!
It should change the perks for any you have already pulled out. Let us know if it doesn't.
I think I know when this started occurring and why.
In patch 2.6.1 (Oct 29 2019) we got the following change: "Fixed an issue that increased loading times for gear preview while in space flight". For some reason I noticed this at the time and immediately had my first black screen after this patch - at the time I put 2 and 2 together and assumed the black screen was part of this change. If you notice when you're in the black "waiting room" as it were you can freely examine weapons, change shaders etc.My theory - instead of having us spend longer looking at our ships flying in, at which time the game seemed to struggle to display gear and allow us to tinker, we are instead shown the black screen once our console / PC loads in to the game while we wait for everyone else in the lobby to load in and synchronize. This makes sense when you consider most players experiencing this are using an SSD and therefore load significantly faster than the rest of the lobby.
In short I believe that the loading times are not increased, we're just looking at a black screen instead of our ships.
Your theory is pretty accurate! We are definitely NOT sending players to a black screen in order to improve load times. Additionally, the black screen is not a sign of increased load times. Here is the gist of what is going on.
In 2.6.1, we introduced a bug that let players leave space flight earlier than intended. The players that leave space flight early still need to wait for every other player to finish loading before playing the intro cinematic, so they see the black screen which understandably feels like something is wrong. We are still working on the fix and it will be deployed in a future update.
Prior to 2.6.1, you remained in space flight while waiting for other players to finish loading. Once every player was loaded, all players would proceed to the black screen at the same time, followed by the intro cinematic.
We're still working on the fix and it will be deployed in a future update.

Yes, we have programmers.
This is an example of player feedback that we collect over time, to ensure the feelings on the matter are sustained.
- Players are having nightmares filled with Arbelast charge up sounds, as so many have equipped the weapon for the quest
- Aim assist was increased at close to mid ranges, which is leading to feelings of the weapon being "overpowered"
- Players can use unflinching mods, accuracy mods, and more to increase the uptime and accuracy of this weapon
Combining player perception and actual usage/efficiency, the team can look at next steps for balancing if needed. We'll be collecting feedback through the season and passing it along as necessary.

This is a bug. We will switch out the perk in an upcoming update. Thanks!
How bout you guys first fix the frustrating bug where graphics settings are getting reset every time a person closes out then reopens the game??
That'd be much more appreciated than patching and unlimited infusion bug or whatever!
Working on that one too.
Weird. We’ll look and see if something is messed up with progression during JIP games.
So... no offense but which is it u/cozmo23 u/dmg04? When we ask about Xur selling collection rolls, you say it's a bug and unintentional... but then this season you said it IS intentional... can we get a solid answer?
Preferably one that involves it being bugged but not getting patched at the moment... Xur would be a complete waste to everyone INCLUDING new light players if he never sold anything aside from collection stat rolls... ESPECIALLY with elemental affinity being an unchangeable thing.
Hey Ghost,
Let's get down to business. The Xur not offering random rolls is represented by two bugs filed on the backend:
- Xur Doesn't currently have random rolls
- We're unable to set random stat rolls due to an issue with code
Cozmo had been in conversations over the bug of us not being able to grant random rolls at all via Xur. This is a code side bug that will take some dev/test time to address. The earliest we could expect a fix will be next season.
When I personally spoke with a few folks internally about Xur not having random rolls, I came to the understanding that this was expected functionality, but was unaware of the actual bug preventing us from taking action. We discussed the value of Xur, where it was noted that vendor continued to offer value for new players hunting for specific exotics, or value for returning players purchasing the engram for random rolls. As such, this was the information that I relayed to the community without the added context of the underlying ...

We are going to be fixing one of the timelines. Enjoy the discounted infusion in the meantime. :)
Hey all,
Team is aware of the issue, which is unintentional. A bug shipped with Update 2.7.0 bringing more damage to the bow, which will more than likely be fixed in a future patch.
That said, the amount of celebration over the current damage numbers is a talking point internally. It's something for the team to chew on for future balance passes, if Wish Ender were to receive some changes.
I know "Keep the feedback coming" is a weird thing to say here, but your enjoyment of the bug is indeed feedback, and it's being passed along accordingly.

Read moreSorry to be annoying /u/dmg04, but the help post I made fell through the cracks. Is the team aware that Perfect Fifth on Polaris Lance is bugged? I didnt't see it on the help page. The perk is making the sound, but not triggering the effect.
I just jumped to Mars and tried this on my Polaris Lance - no issue repro.
