Pulling the quote from our Season in Destiny 2's Third Year blogpost, where the "You had to be there when..." quote originates:

Doing this allows us to evolve the world—narratively, but potentially physically as well. It is not possible to keep Destiny frozen in place to allow all activities to live forever while also changing the world in meaningful ways. This strategy lets our team be agile and innovative. We believe that Destiny will grow even better when the world state can change, and that the best Destiny stories are the ones where “you had to be there when….”

I've bolded a piece to give it a bit more spotlight. There are technical and developmental limitations involved where we cannot continue to support an additional activity with every single release. If you're going to increase XP gains from activities, please have the foresight to implement more anti-AFK measures first. I can forsee playlist activities becoming a nightmare if they become the most efficient source of XP.

Overwatch has a system where you have to deal damage within 2 minutes to prevent being kicked. A system like this would go a long way in preventing AFKers in Destiny.

Thanks for collecting feedback in this thread on Bounties and XP sources. We'll share your thoughts with the team on how you would like these systems to improve in the future.

So far the main points I am seeing are:

  • Make activities reward more XP
  • Bounties should be able to be picked up in Orbit or one location
  • Increase amount of Bounties you can carry

Thanks for the report. This is a known issue that we were able to reproduce internally and investigating a fix.

We are passing all of the Iron Banner feedback to the devs, especially about the rocket launcher step not being fun and causing friction in matches. Feel free to add anything else you want me to pass along about Iron Banner here as well. Thanks!

Very good question. I'll shoot this off to the team and see if this could be a future QOL change. Can't make a promise as they're juggling a few things in flight, but your feedback will be heard.

Thanks for the post! To reiterate the two QOL requests from the weekend that were seen here:

  • Remove Schematic requirements for weekly weapon frames
  • Make Refurbished Black Armory weapons more accessible

Saw this thread over the weekend, wanted to hit it for sure this morning.

  1. How frequently do you have this happen?
  2. Is it only Torch Hammers?
  3. Were you experiencing any connection issues at the time?
  4. Was this in Gambit, or Gambit Prime?

I've been playing Prime over the last two weeks getting my seasonal weapon, shader, and emblem. I haven't been having the same issues occur, but we can check to see if there's a bug. I can say that there were no difficulty changes in Season of Dawn, nor any hotfixes or updates to Gambit/Prime difficulty since.

As for the current examples provided in the OP:

  • In example 1, it seems you were being hit from multiple angles by torch hammers and other combatants. While it seems off you lost all of your health so quickly, it seems likely that you were somewhat overwhelmed by firepower from multiple sources.

Sleeper was an interesting subject, as it could be powerful for invading, counter invading, and Boss DPS at the time. It was an all in one utility, where Truth currently keeps focus to invasions.

Aside from ammo capacity, do you have any other feedback on Truth?

The Enemies Percentage for the Green with envy Gambit quest has been stuck for me at 39% and nothing i do is changing it. Please help!
