Cataclysm Classic

• Fixed a bug preventing Sensiria in Feralas from showing up as expected.

We’re working on a hotfix to address this.

The hotfix will add a new Shatter recipe to Enchanting, and the new recipe will let you shatter blue crystals and receive dust.

We expect this to become available in-game in the next couple of days.

This was an unintended change and a fix for it has been deployed.

The original change was intended to prevent Vile Taint from activating Blackened Soul for every enemy it affects by providing a small enough internal cooldown that would have no effect on gameplay.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

With scheduled weekly maintenance on September 10, we’re going to reduce the effectiveness of a few new Class Tier sets that would otherwise overperform relative to our targeted values. We will also increase the baseline damage of the affected specs to account for the tier set tuning.

We will then look forward to additional tuning that we’ll develop during Heroic week, which will address anything needed for PvP, Mythic+, and Mythic raiding on September 17.

The September 10 changes will be:

Death Knight
Unholy

• All ability damage increased by 5%
• Nerub-ar Palace Tier Set: 4-piece – Haste when summoning a minion reduced to 1% (was 2%), up to a maximum of 4% (was 8%).

Blood

• All ability damage increased by 5%
• Nerub-ar Palace Tier Set: 4-piece – Damage is increased by 0.5% per Boneshield Charge (was 1%).

Demon Hunter

• All ability damage increased by 4%.

Thank you for your report! We’ve identified an issue with the Fractured Gemstone Locket Design recipe not dropping and are working on a fix. We’ll post in our hotfix updates when it’s been fixed.

We’ve also noticed some confusion revolving around recipe and reagent drops from delves, and we’d like to clarify on the confusion: Different delves have different creatures in them, which does determine what recipes and rare reagents drop.

Cataclysm Classic

• Fixed issue with Guild Herald and Guild Page not being able to be learned by multiple characters of the same faction on a given account. Players affected by this bug can now buy these pets from a Guild Vendor at a discounted price. Players who were unaffected will still pay full price.

We updated the 1.15.4 PTR with a new build today. We have new vendors active with the following items:

• Tier 2 sets
• Zul’Gurub sets and enchants
• Blackwing Lair items

We’re looking for bugs and feedback around our new items and item sets. To accomplish this, you can take on Testwerk – we beefed him up a bit, so feel free to grab some friends and test away.

Welcome to the Cataclysm Classic Firelands PTR.

This patch will include the Firelands raid, the Elemental Bonds questline, the legendary staff Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s Rest, some minor guild updates, and the new increased challenge difficulty option for dungeons.

Some of these features are not available for testing yet, and will be added to the PTR over the next several weeks.

The main focus for this week’s PTR build is the Regrowth and Molten Front quest hubs.

• Players will help Malfurion and the Guardians of Hyjal secure The Regrowth in Mount Hyjal, then create a portal to Molten Front to attack Ragnaros’ forces in their home realm.
