It’s time to give back to the children of Azeroth during Children’s Week! Take an orphan under your wing and show them the wonders of the world.

Throughout the year, the orphans of Azeroth spend much of their time wandering their home cities, dreaming of the day they’ll be old enough (and big enough) to go out into the world to experience the adventures and marvels they’ve missed as children. During Children’s Week, the giving souls of the Horde and the Alliance can help make those dreams come true.

Also, you can earn even more Trader's Tender while completing select activities with your little protégé.

The skies of the capital cities will be set ablaze for one night only in celebration of the New Year. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. realm time tonight (December 31) and every hour on the hour, you can watch fireworks light the skies above your favorite city. It’s a celebration you won’t want to miss.

Looking for a little PvP? You might want to check out what’s shaking in Booty Bay. There’s more than Fireworks going on—the guards don’t seem to be enforcing the town rules and won’t be until a new day dawns.

Yogg-Saron Awaits!

Ulduar Timewalking is now available and Yogg-Saron – the lucid dream, the monster in your nightmares, and the fiend of a thousand faces – awaits.

When: The Ulduar raid is available throughout the Wrath Timewalking event.
Difficulty: The difficulty is set to Normal and, like any Normal level raid, will not be available through Raid Finder.
Minimum Level: Players level 50 and above are eligible to participate.

During Wrath Timewalking, you can assemble a raid group of between 10 and 30 players, travel to Dalaran in Northrend, and speak with Vormu to access a Timewalking version of the Ulduar raid. The raid scales for your group size and your level and gear will be scaled to match the raid’s challenges.

The yearly Harvest Festival is now underway in Azeroth. This is a solemn time when the Alliance honors Uther the Lightbringer by lighting a candle at his tomb in the Western Plaguelands, while members of the Horde show their respect to Grommash Hellscream by leaving a bottle of spirits at the base of the Hellscream Memorial in Demon Fall Canyon in Ashenvale.

All week, open your map (default hotkey-"m") and select any of the regions in Shadowlands to view the World Quests available to you. To find out more about each World quest, simply hover your mouse over a World Quest on the map to see what tasks are needed to complete it, the rewards you’ll receive, and the time remaining that the quest is available to you.

Look for the following all week long:

  • Caretaker Kah-Toll in Oribos has a quest for you—The World Awaits. You can also start the quest from within the Adventure Guide (Shift-J).
    • Quest requirement: Complete 20 World Quests in the Shadowlands
    • Reward: Choice of one of four Covenant Commendations worth 500 Reputation and 3 Multi-Modal Anima Containers each worth 250 stored Anima for your Covenant Reservoir.

Players will be able to venture into six of Mists of Pandaria’s storied dungeons to reap new rewards all week during this Bonus Event. Simply open the Group Finder (default hotkey: “I”) and then select Dungeon Finder and Timewalking in the “Type” dropdown menu. Selecting “Find Group” will match you with other players and send you to one of the following Heroic Dungeons.

  • Temple of the Jade Serpent
  • Stormstout Brewery
  • Shado-Pan Monastery
  • Mogu’shan Palace
  • Scholomance
  • Gate of the Setting Sun

Your character and items will be scaled down to a power level fitting for the challenge at hand, but bosses will yield loot appropriate for your natural level. Timewalking dungeons also have a chance to drop items that usually drop when you run them on Heroic, and you’ll earn reputation with a faction that is interested in the dungeon.

Gather your staunchest allies and head into the Firelands raid dungeon to take on the elemental lord Ragnaros and his cohorts—and take on six dungeons from Deathwing’s era— during Cataclysm Timewalking.

The Firelands is the molten domain forged by the titans to house Ragnaros and his wayward minions. Following Deathwing’s emergence into Azeroth, Ragnaros and his servants surged onto the slopes of Mount Hyjal before being driven back by the sacred mountain’s valiant defenders. Now Ragnaros is rallying his loyalists to defend the Firelands from Azeroth’s champions.

The Black Temple raid is available throughout the Burning Crusade Timewalking event. The difficulty is set to Normal and, like any Normal level raid, will not be available through Raid Finder. To take on this challenge, you’ll need to get your guild or a group of friends together, or head to Group Finder > Premade Groups. The raid scales for your group size (between 10 — 30 players) and your level and gear will be scaled back to match the raid’s challenges.
