Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Dev Tracker

We did not specify that port blocking was the sole cause; I added it to my pinned post as an observation based on what other players have reported to me.
Ultimately, all we can do is wait for Deutsche Telekom to address this.
I've asked our Game Director who has confirmed it's still on our radar, but is still deciding on the best way to proceed.

We kindly ask that any conversation related to the Sign-In Timeout errors is continued in the post linked above.

Recently, we've noticed those using the ISP Deutsche Telekom and it's subsidiaries (such as T-Mobile), have been experiencing the Sign-In Timeout error in Vermintide 2.
We suspect this is due to current world events leading to a substantially higher demand on their network.
If you don't believe your Sign-In Timeout errors are ISP-related, please see our list of solutions here[support.fatshark.se].

Previous attempts to reach out to Deutsche Telekom have been unsuccessful. We have posted publicly on their discussion boards which can be seen here[telekomhilft.telekom.de], and we encourage you to add any potentially valuable information to the post.

We've heard from Deutsche Telekom, who have confirmed that connectivity is poor to the region our server address is situated in due to over-capacity.
This would be due to the current worldwide situation; internet usage has been substantially increased which leads to higher demand on the ca... Read more
Should be fixed now, boss!
This is normal. Your CPU has 4 Threads, and 2 of them are reserved for other processes.

Is the Twitch crash one of the various fixes?
Yep

Yes!! Thank you for fixing this aggravating problem!
I am a little confused about this, though...
Originally posted by Fatshark Hedge: Added delay on kill volumes so people with bad connection wouldn't die from touching it when they get extrapolated under the floor on server side. This should dramatically reduce those heart attack moments. Let us know if you experience them still, and specifically where you do if you do.
I'm guessing this is about when clients instantly die from small short falls? Or is this something else entirely?
It's exactly this, when clients bunnyhop around and drop dead, or jump off something and just.. die unexpectedly. Read more

Steve, what a lovely person you are! Hope you're keeping well during this strange time.
It's my understanding that the rules only apply when a 2-way transaction is involved (such as if you were to be selling the keys, rather than handing them out at no cost).
So how you decide to offer them out is up to you. :)
Indeed, those are bait threads and 5g knows what he's doing there. :) We're actually overly relaxed in closing down obvious trolling and bait, so you're right, we need to lock more threads like that - thanks for the feedback.
Since this is a moderation challenge thread, it will be locked also, challenges or concerns can be raised to [email protected]
Crazy but very coincidental timing. :)
This is an update for the Collector's Edition, primarily adding WOM and AQD soundtracks for those who own the CE version of the game.
As pungent says, it's pretty tough for a game to BSOD a PC unless there's an external factor at play. The OS can handle game errors and faults fairly gracefully, and even an ungraceful error on a healthy machine will just crash unexpectedly as opposed to just blue screening.
It depends on your loadout, if you're going for a traditional tank play, you'll want to be staggering enemies and boosting your team mates damage (I do defer to the masses here for more specifics, because they hands down can inform you what's up better than I ever could honestly!).
The green circles might seem the goal, but really if you're contributing to a team dynamic then that's more important.
I think it's crucial for players to have the front page (general discussion) to be able to vent/rant about where they feel or believe we go wrong (however accurate or widely believed their beliefs may be). :) Equally they can use it to say "more of that, please" when we do something right.
Just remember it's easier to post critique than it is to post praise. That's just the human way, I think.
Nope, we're still working on it :) did we announce it too soon? Perhaps. But it's still being worked on.
We published on our website and forums also. The Steam "announcement" tools are offline at the moment.
