As a fellow (sometimes) Thermite main, I don't think he's a better hard breacher, but will work in tandem with both him and Hibana. Thermite is still the quickest and most effective hard breacher. Ace can get bandit/impact tricked very easily and needs two SELMA charges to get hatches, as opposed to one cluster of Hibana pellets.

It's difficult to say. Based on my knowledge, I believe the team sees it's best to go with a curated set of maps instead. We've been making the team aware of the frustration surrounding the map rotation. It's going to rotate a lot more starting with Steel Wave, but it does seem like players would prefer to choose the maps themselves.

Both are great operators! If you plan on playing Ranked, you won't really get to play Jackal all that much since he's one of the most banned operators in comp games. Jackal has, in my opinion, the best primary selections in the game. You have a high damage AR with low recoil, and a super fun drum fed SMG with low recoil as well in the PDW. Buck is also a fun op as well. The C8 can be a pretty difficult weapon to use due to its high recoil, but it's nothing you can't lean without a bit off T-Hunt practice. yeah that one doesnt really count

The thing about Recruit is that he wasn't exactly made to be mained by experienced players. He exists mostly for new players so they can get some experience with a wide variety of weapons in the game without having to buy an operator. That's why he's only available for new players or people who don't have access to a lot of the roster. Read more

In thing when you are protecting the hostage and spawnpeek the terrorists they will get behind cover and just stay stuck there the entire time usually in places that take longer than 10 seconds to get to and back inside resulting in a loss if lone wolf or a teammate having to sacrifice themself if playing online.

Recruit is technically still in Ranked, however, he's only available for players who have their existing ops selected by other players.
