So has the BSG position changed?

It used to be that BSG banned in "waves" and not "as fast as possible" because banning as fast as possible made it easier for cheat devs to find out what is triggering the detection.

its a combination of waves and fast bans

1. BattlEye bans (a lot of them everyday, we are all together refining the system to ban them as fast as possible). From 12.6 patch start (from 28-th of May) almost 10 000 cheaters banned already. The situation is that most of the cheaters gets banned, it only a reason of time (which needs to be as soon as possible).
2. We are making the report system ingame with a lot of additional stats gathering, this info will be used with BattlEye and it will not be one and only reason of ban.
3. We are making additional countermeasures against cheaters on game servers (instakick, instaban).
4. We are looking into 2FA SMS verification of accounts but it is not a simple task and it will not make the game cheater-free (cheaters, who pay 200 $ for a cheat will pay for another simcard or for a virtual simcard service easily). This will just make their life a little harder, but it's a good thing. Stop thinking that 2FA SMS is the only needed thing.

Kinda just wondering what's going on with crouch-sneaking with Binaural sound on. It seems that sneaking your footsteps are just as loud as not sneaking. Not sure if this was an intended change, or bug. Some have suggested it's because covert movement was reset, but sneaking has never been this loud. Kind of wondering what the point of sneaking is if it's as loud as not sneaking. Does Covert movement actually make sneaking quieter now? Do you need to max it out to get back to how sneaking used to be? There wasn't any mention of changes to sneaking audio and this is a pretty huge change.

Aside that, really loving the new audio.

I have noticed that on standing up after being proned, the character will pause for 0.5-1sec, hand up, mid animation. This will stop you from firing or doing any action, even moving.

Do you plan to experiment with limit per user but with a random availability or we will have to keep sniping the reset of traders to get what we want?

traders have more than 1000 items to sell. scav junkbox just started to be depleted and you are all sayin "we need to keep sniping traders". next it will be another single item and there will be tons of posts "can you just remove limits". no - it will not be removed, although its being tweaked.

Yep. And the quest could be something like "do this for me and i'll tell you where you can find labs" so it makes some sense

later there will be main restriction - you will need to get there through different locations. and only that way.

the restock of traders' ammunition .. and ridiculous in my opinion the maximum amount of ammunition you can take .. now that you can no longer resell them because I can only take a few high level ammunition. please increase the restock to at least 500

i don't see any lack of ammo restock right now (although there were changed in it last day). could you say which ammo?

in my opinion the number of ammunition that I can buy is too low. if I'm not mistaken for example of 995 I can take only 60 every 3 hours
