There's nothing fun about Scavs you can't even see through a bush throwing perfect insta-exploding grenades at you.

Flashes are fine, whatever, it's kinda interesting to fight while blinded, but dying instantaneously to basic AI is incredibly dumb. It feels like BSG didn't playtest this at all when giving them VOGs.
