I've fixed that up for you real quick, those accounts are back to the way they were before you attempted to link them up. :)
Path of Exile accounts created using Steam do not automatically assign an email address as that information is not necessary to access the account using Steam. In order to add an email address to an account for the first time, Support will need to do that for you.
Please log out of your current account, and then log back into the Path of Exile website using the 'Sign in through STEAM' button on the login page (http://pathofexile.com/login) and navigate to your account settings. In here you will find an "change email" option in which to add your new email address.

Sometimes you will experience an error when you're attempting to use an email address that is already attached to another Path of Exile account. It's only possible for an email to be used on one Path of Exile account at a time, which causes an error when you attempt to complete adding it to another!
Please try using an email address that is not already attached to an account and it should complete successfully. :)

We can indeed un-delete recent characters in most cases - please email in to [email protected] and provide us with the exact character name. We can then look into that for you. :)

I'm just wondering how long it's taken other people to get responses, and if this is longer than usual. I'm not asking reddit to fix my problems

We have a pretty heavy demand in email support at the moment, and are working from the oldest of our emails. If you've sent us an email you may be in the queue, which is between 48-56 hours at the moment. We're doing our best to move through them and catch up!

You can email our Support team at [email protected] and we can check into the status of the account - provide us with the account name and 1-2 character names (so we can ensure we have the correct account) and we can let you know exactly what needs to be done to un-link it. :)

If you've already emailed us and not had a response, we do have a little bit of an email backlog due to the launch of Legion. Our oldest email at the moment is from 13 hours ago. We're working through quite quickly, we should get to you soon!

Hiya!
I'm afraid that flask macros are definitely not allowed, as they activate more than one in-game action per manual input. We would consider the use of a flask macro working on a timer or activating more than one flask to be a breach of our Terms of Use.
