Good news, Redditors!

The Early Access continues, and over the past month we've made great strides towards the release. Among the most important, in our opinion, recent updates, in addition to optimization, bug fixes, improvements to maps and visual aspects, which we are constantly working on, we would like to highlight the following features:

  • Completely new formula for the weapon damage and armor performance. The armor has become noticeably stronger, the calculation of damage has become clearer. It also gave us the opportunity to greatly increase the accuracy of weapons. The gameplay has become much more interesting, there is a place for more diverse tactics.
  • New weapons degradation and repair system. Weapons no longer lose accuracy in the course of the degradation, and the use of a repair kit during repair gives an additional +10% accuracy to weapon and a chance to dodge to armor. Patch Notes 15/05/2020

  1. New scheme for repair and degradation of weapons and armor:

- Weapon degradation no longer affects accuracy, and armor degradation no longer affects defense. Instead, with a completely degradated item, you simply cannot go into battle before repair.
- Weapons and armor now have a resource that determines the number of durability points restored during all repairs of this item. After exhausting the repair, the item becomes unrepairable.
- When applying repair kit, item receives a temporary bonus (accuracy for weapons, chance to dodge for armor).

Увидел рекламу в Facebook. Ок, скачал, поиграл. Разрушаемость объектов это конечно неплохо для тактических решений. Заявленного разнообразия оружия и брони я как-то не заметил в магазине. У меня 22000 денег и потратить их не на что кроме как на аптечки и гранаты. Ну и кроме того, стандартная, из X-Com система с двумя очками действий уже не актуально, особенно в свете вышедших Gears Tactics и Troubleshooter которые обе по своему оригинальны в геймплее и не являются copy-paste x-com с новыми шкурками. PVP режим? Ну так есть Jagged Alliance Online, Mercs of Boom в которых он тоже есть. Я, к сожалению не вижу ничего сверх оригинального в этом проекте. Даже оружие и броню модифицировать обвесами нельзя, по крайней мере пока. Было бы неплохо увидеть какой-нибудь roadmap проекта, чтобы понять, стоит его ждать в принципе или нет.

Спасибо за фидбек! У нас для модификации брони есть пластины и подкладки, для оружия тоже есть модификаторы. В данный момент на этапе ОБТ многие моменты мы дорабатываем и занимаемся правкой багов. Это конечно не окончательная версия игры.

  • New formula for calculating damage:

- 1 armor negates 1 damage, calculation of damage penetrated through the armor takes place before calculating the destruction of armor,

- 3 damage destroys 1 armor,

- 1 armor piercing destroys 1 armor in addition to damage,

- 1 resistance to damage from explosion and penetrating damage from beam weapons additionally negates 1 damage of the corresponding type, passing through the armor, but not more than the number of remaining armor points

  • Changed weapon accuracy: significantly improved the accuracy of most guns at medium distances
  • Changed interface for using medkits and active skills on allied operatives
  • Fixed bug of incorrect display of active class and switching between classes in leveling up menu
  • Fixed bug when after getting damage the enemy sat down and got up
  • Fixed bug due to which the game could freeze after explosion of an object

Доброго время суток. поясните как может быть такое, что куратор снайпер с хорошим ружом и в звании капрала со 100% попадания промахивается два хода подряд, а враги из автомата в нее попадают? как я понял для ботов расстояние не имеет значения? они из пистолета в нее попали бы....

This game certainly has potential. I love XCOM-like games, and this seems to stay true to the genre. I really like the sleek interface, and there is potential for the game to look visually appealing. I also like that the enemies don't stop when your Overwatch is activated, they just slow down. All that said, for me personally, it unfortunately is not in a playable state right now.

  1. The 60 FPS cap. I see that the options support higher refresh rate, so can we have support for high framerate? Is there a way to change this option in the files? Though I suppose I am unsure how well optimized the game is... if I can't run it a high frame rate, it's a no go for me, however I understand this is a very subjective topic.
  2. Movement and actions feel sluggish. A) when you click to move, it takes much too long for your character to start moving. B) when you click to fire, it takes too long for you to get into the action camera view and have the crosshair zone in on the target.
  3. Movement is very unclear. In a lot of places it can be hard to see which square you're actually going to be moving to. When you hover over a location, you see your landing squares plus nearby squares around the landing square; it is too hard to differentiate them. I do not think seeing only a few nearby squares is necessary.
  4. WASD scroll speed is far too slow, and right clicking to alter the camera angle is much too fast.
  5. When observing the battlefield it is very difficult to tell which character you have selected. It is clear on the HUD however it is important to be clear on the battlefield as well.
  6. It is very difficult to see the cover indicators on the battlefield.

I don't think it would take much to modernize this game and be able to enjoy it. I will see if I can push through another round and provide more feedback. Keep up the good work!

  1. Added training tips in the first mission. You can also have a look at a tip by pressing F1 in any battle
  2. Added mesh highlighting through the grass during battle
  3. Fixed incorrect accrual of experience
  4. Size of the story missions icons increased by 200%. PvP and PvP+ icons increased by 150%. Other icons increased by 100%
  5. Changes in mechanics when operatives detect each other at the beginning of the match. The first turn is passed to the one with a larger detection radius. If the detection radius is the same, turn goes to the one who stood still (didn't move) at the time of contact
  6. Partially fixed interface bugs caused by overwatch activation
  7. Fixed bug where after using “Headshot” skill the accuracy of shot decreased
  8. Fixed display bug of a new artifact on maps
