The windows save is just in your AppData folder which is hidden by default but definitely accessible.

I walked a guy through transferring the save both ways (before u31 dropped though) and it worked. Just had to rename the file and change file type as described here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DeepRockGalactic/comments/e7hptr/how_to_transfer_your_steam_save_to_windows_10_and/

Seeing as it's so easy, it would be nice to get some official support here. Maybe something like making both files .sav format as less windows-savvy people sometimes have issues with that part (you need to enable a setting to change extensions in explorer).

Cross-play (or cross-ownership at least) would be ideal of course, but this does help smooth things over.

Good to know, thanks!

Management is very proud of you... Now get back to work!

That's totally up to you, the devs are some of the best so supporting them by re buying doesn't hurt.

I've also been told you can copy and paste your save file between the Microsoft and steam version to keep your progress, though I haven't done it yet.

I actually don't think you can transfer saves, Im pretty sure the win10 save is not accesable.

Not 100% sure, but please don't buy the Steam version thinking you can transfer your save. I'll need to poke the QA guys for an official confirmation.

So I would say definatelly give it a try on win10 first. You can also find more Xbox/Win10 people to play with on our discord server.

Basically graphical surfaces that shoot out from the characters, extend across the screen, and make it almost impossible to see in-game. Have also had numerous false walls appear across the entire map that you can't see through, but otherwise are unable to interact with. For us on Xbox it happens in one of about every 5 multiplayer games and usually ends in failure as a result.

Ok, just poked out QA master about it, and they are still working on it. Apparently its rather tricky and probably will require that we update to a newer version of the engine so they are also preparing the project for that but it's no small task.

Sorry, I don't exactly recall. Maybe the biozone or radioactive biome?

No worries. Please let me know if it happens again.

Cookie001

No, I think it was 2 different missions because I remember retaking it and finishing it. The other crash was mid game while the first one was during the loading phase.

Do you by any chance remember which Biome these missions were in?

Springatron

Awesome, thank you!

Will it include a fix for the graphics issues?

I hope so! I'm not a programmer so not really sure, but the code-boys are busy fixing bugs so I'm sure they are working on it.

Is there any specific issue you have in mind?

When you say continue, are you talking at the end of a mission or at the starting spashscreen?

After gunk seeds and ebonuts, are there any other plans for a third type of testicle-gathering secondary objective?

Never say never

Cookie001

Got some weird crashes, one while loading, one during the mission. Crashed the game for the whole team, not just me. Anyone else?

Was it the same mission that crashed these two times? As in, did you start a mission, crash, then tried to start the same mission again?

Turtle_Hermits

Nothing they've announced yet. I wouldn't really count on it to be honest, but maybe down the road. I'm pretty sure nothing is totally off the table with GSG.

This. No concrete plans for that yet, but new weapons are more likely than a whole new class.

Rock and Stone! Any update timeline for Microsoft platforms?

As soon as it passes certification.

I think all the times that happened, I was dropping a shield exactly into one of the fellow dwarfs. Also, after the bug occurs, my dwarf is holding not the inactive shield (which is normally when shield is on cooldown), but the driller's remote detonator, as if it is ready to activate. When this happens, I will make a screenshot of it and update the thread.

Thanks!

Every bit helps. Seriously.

A big thank you to you and the rest of our amazing community for all the bug reports, balance testing, theorising, spellchecking and (sometimes insane but always awesome) suggestions.

ROCK! AND! STONE!

That's very Rock and Stone of you.

We're looking into it but have not been able to reproduce the bug in-house. If you have any repro steps that we can follow that would be a big help.

A particular moment from a Star Trek TNG episode came to mind.

Clearly this is one of the many hazards of space travel.
