uh.. what? Or you can just change the rings to suit your situation, there isn't exactly an issue there that needs to be solved...

If there is, you gotta enlighten me on that one I'm afraid.

An all encompassing ring that's awesome at everything and completely destroyed the point would be way too much.

That and getting the points isn't exactly a chore. All you're spending is time, not even any effort, You can go do other things and only pay attention every few minutes (depending on method).

Why would you look to cheapen the point of an RNG based drop system? The whole point is that you go dry some places you go lucky in others it evens itself out. That's kinda the point.

To me "pity timers" (i call them for want of an actual name) would completely cheapen the whole experience and alot of what the game is about in my eyes. Not to mention make it so theres a more of everything thus making the items cheaper and not really worth going for outside of personal achievements and collection log stuff.

Or we can use super energy and stamina potions because they pretty much fill the need youre describing and already exist. Its not like theyre that expensive and sure its a little bit of a grind for an ironman, but thats kinda the point no?

Genuinely curious as to why poeple seem to think super energies and stam potions are a bad thing/need to be altered.

No, let me be sad and grey pls.

Would be great to replace the ‘configure’ option with just ‘check’ and ‘empty’ instead. Same for the log basket/fish sack, as others have suggested.

Also, being able to use shades directly from the coffin when burning them would be a solid QoL improvement.

Thanks for the reply, u/JagexRoq!

Just an FYI, Objects have a limited about of options which can appear when you right click them. Often when we have to use something like "configure" its because there isn't any more available for us to have things separated nicely. :(

Appreciate the response!

Great to see Shades of Morton getting an update! But can the coffin be more user-friendly? Trying to remove a single type of remains and getting a full menu of every possible type feels clunky. A simpler way to empty would be a huge QoL improvement! Maybe this could be taken up for an upcoming QoL fix?

Is this purely for wanting to light pyres and use remains or more from a banking perspective?

For example when lighting pyres it could also grab one from your coffin as well as your inventory.

Just trying to determine the use case being requested :)

If youd like to direct message me your runescape name over reddit DM. I can look into this issue you are encountering.

My buddy is having the same issue atm on his Samsung m20. He gave me a screenshot and asked me to post here: https://i.imgur.com/H4azzza.png

The camera is over the prayer stuff and it smoothes the edges so stuff like the chat and battery gets cut off

Hmm this is interesting. The way the system now works is we use what the device tells us as the "safe space" to display the UI. So either the device isn't telling us at all or its not being handled correctly.

I'm investigating this at the moment to see what we can do.

You have to swipe to show the navigation bar. 1st pic shows what it was like before the update. Basically there's empty space to the left and right, and the navigation bar fits in the right space nicely and doesn't overlap (couldn't find a screenshot that shows it)

2nd pic shows the updated version and the 3rd shows the updated version with the navigation bar swiped in and it overlaps the right inventory buttons. The curved screen also makes tapping the batt icon a little harder.

Also when you have another application like Youtube in pop-up view, the navigation will pop up automatically, just transparent and allows you to press Back.

It worked well pre-update since the navigation bar would always fit nicely without overlapping but, as shown in this image, now that transparent bar overlaps too. (The bar is there but not very visible because it overlaps when it used to be on black empty space) So instead of hitting the inventory icon or whatever you end up pressing the Home button.

It's not a huge deal, just annoying to have something that we're already used to be changed in such a way, with no toggle or option to keep the old UI. Note 9s don't even have notches so i'm not sure why the update affected them in the first place. The old layout was much more ergonomic imo.

Previously the indents we're to allow the use of notched devices, at the time whether the device had a notch wasn't determinable. However with this update, we;re able to dynamically determine whether a device has a notch or not and if it doesn't, adjust the UI accordingly to allow better use of the screen on notch-less phones.

The swipeable sidebar isnt such processed as a notch by the device, thus the UI isnt modified to handle it. I'm raising the issue further to see what we can do about such things.

They fucked up the mobile update for the note 9, screen is stretched so now the navigation* bar at the bottom covers the inventory, interface, etc buttons

Thanks alot jamflex, quality update as usual /s

Would you be able to provide a screenshot to help show what youre experiencing?

Is the note 9 one of the devices where the menu isnt always shown and you can swipe it to be displayed?

dont like the idea of directly buying any tier of scrolls ,change it to chances to roll and get the scroll like with implings and ba like 1/50 chance to get x scroll and give equal loot to ba gambles

also combining b gloves with ehter bracelet is a buff to revs, do they really need a buff ???

really love the halos ,elder maul buff and unskulling scroll idea

Theyre already buyable through implings, doing this then giving a chance at the clue is just a slap in the face. The current points per scroll offered is to base it around how long it would normally take you to get a clue scroll of that type via PvM.

Waow the loadout system looks incredible! No longer having to reorganize my inventory constantly is going to be lovely. Fantastic job on that!

Ash can certainly work some magic!

I'm starting to feel Jagex is taking "ImbueScape" a bit far with all of these suggestions. It's approaching a point where it's a chore to keep track of everything that's going on. It's a fine balance, and I know the playerbase don't want to see their BIS items suddenly become irrelevant - it's hard to please everyone I suppose.

The mods on Q&A yesterday talked about keeping a certain balance between quest-exclusive BIS (Avas, Barrows gloves) and tradables, and I do think Jagex maintains that quite well. I'd like to ask for similar thoughtfulness between imbues/straight buffs, etc.

Anyway, I will probably vote no to most of this, I'm afraid.

Given that most of these suggestions to be polled are to be tradeable (Having the news post updated to reflect this) So players wont feel forced to do LMS to get them btu at the same time PvPers who enjoy it can make money from the mini-game.

I wish the Ancient halo was the Zaros symbol similar to the Seren halo. The purple with nothing else seems a bit lacking compared to the other ones.

Zaros is known as the "empty lord" This was some of the reaosning behind the fairly plain halo.

Rune pouches wont be cheap when the BH update comes and makes it so you have to get like 100 bounty hunter target kills for every single rune pouch.

The orbs are also limited to the runes of one spell. so their effectiveness over a rune pouch will be small in comparison but useful for PvP.

CrazyHorseSizedFrog

Do you think this interface could be added to banks later down the line to allow faster gearing up for other content or has that already been ruled out before on the Q&A?

Being able to gear yourself up with a "preset" has been met with alot of negativity in the past, not especially because it allows players to reinvent them selves easily. Wouldnt be too keen on that myself personally, it would have an effect on bank related skilling XP rates.

Samuel71900

It isn’t locked behind PvP. A small upgrade is.

A small tradeable upgrade that players can just purchase to put on their elder maul might i add.

Hmm, I think you guys forgot we already HAVE bottled dragon breath as an item; it's made in Kebos and used to recharge Dragonfire Shields. Maybe a different name?

https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Bottled_dragonbreath

These will be different items, we just need to rename the item for the LMS rewards poll. Shame i kinda like the name. Any suggestions? :)
