Hey! This was hotfixed on Wednesday around 11:20 GMT, so you should be able to make your clan now. Give it a try and let us know if you have any more problems and we'll look to address it as soon as possible.

There's also another issue with inviting players to your clan which is caused by the person you're inviting having their privacy setting set to Offline. So if you've experienced this issue, in the meantime please have them turn their privacy status to Online. This issue will be fixed with the game update on Monday.

Thanks,

This is just a safety check in case you have items in the wrong slot, and is intentional that you get sent to Death's office as this will force the items to be removed in a safe way. However, looking at your equipment I'm not too sure what's caused it. If you could you submit an in-game bug report please so we can investigate further, and please include the preset you had the issue with.

Thanks!

Hi, thanks for flagging! We'll investigate further but just for peace of mind, all BXP is disabled as well so it won't work.

Hey, feel free to drop me a PM and I'll have a look into it. And yeah, please always submit a bug report via the in-game system too.

Honestly, it's quite surreal! All the positive comments are really overwhelming in the most positive way possible - thank you all from all of us! <3
We're just really happy to see everybody engaging in different ways, from the masses of people swarming areas; the amount of chatter in-game and across social media; the number of people helping each other out; to the new and existing communities growing and speaking more broadly, the number of people that are just having some fun!

We're not completely done just yet either. We've been monitoring feedback and we'll change things where necessary over the coming weeks, with some smaller changes coming with the next game update (Monday), and on that note, I'll leave you with this single patch note to look forward to.

Inspecting a damaged or restored artefact, and filling or inspecting a soil box will no longer interrupt your current action, allowing you to continue excavating uninterrupted.

Thank you once again, stay safe and get some g...

Investigating now, thanks for flagging!

Edit: This was hot fixed soon after to stop the aura from boosting the stats.

Hey, we'll investigate this tomorrow, but in the mean time please submit a lost item ticket.

Wonder if someone who hasn't completed the achievement could verify what it says in their collection log? But otherwise, that makes sense!

What u/Irevia said is correct. There's a one-off reward for some of the collections and then a repeatable reward. Wiki does have all that information now if you'd like to take a look - https://runescape.wiki/w/Archaeology_collections

Made note, thanks!

Could you submit an in-game bug report and include the name of the device please?

This is a known issue and we're working on a fix now. We'll hopefully have it hotfixed soon.

Edit: This has since been hotfixed but with the following side effects: - Bakriminal bolts appear craftable when you don't meet the requirements and don't appear craftable when you meet the requirements. - Space bar doesn't work when trying to fletch the Bakriminal bolts.

This is, unfortunately, the best we can do when and these side effects come from hotfixing things within an interface. These side effects will be fixed with our next cold fix.

This is awesome! Great job :)

Hey,

Thanks once again for compiling the information shared in the stream, u/ImRubic!
I'll just expand on/clarify a point or two mentioned from this composition.

Excavation
Time-sprites - Similar to Rockertunities but also slightly different.
Permanently present but requires you to be active and follow them around the excavation site.

There are numerous different excavation spots within a site and there's a Time Sprite active at each type of excavation spots. Consider some trees in Woodcutting as an example... an Oak, Willow, and Maple tree are different types of hotspots, but there is a Time Sprite that travels between the Oak trees, then another one that travels between the Willow trees and so on. You do not have to move to a different type of hotspot that you don't want to, and rather just between the type of hotspot you're excavating from.
I hope that made sense. :P

so a few questions:

1) will the exp boost work from the outfit if we unlock it early on? and will that be the only exp boost available?

2) will grace of the elves work for seren spirits since its a gathering skill?

3) how long is the "player owned nerds" expected to take? I really hope its not another ports that will take AGES along with rng to get done for comp/trim/mqc

4) when it comes to diploma's are we essentially gated behind getting those before we can advance to next parts of the skill? IE: say I hate processing sand, but I love unlocking relics, but processing 10,000 sand is required to get the level 20 diploma and without level 20 diploma I cant unlock level 30 content?

  1. Yes, the Archaeology outfits will boost XP gained during the embargo period.
  2. Yes, you'll discover Seren Spirits whilst training Archaeology.
  3. A tricky question to answer without spoiling anything, though I will say you will be expected to do an amount of Research missions for Comp/Trim reqs (Research is the official name for it), especially if you keep up with it on the road to level 120. There's also no RNG involved in completing the Research missions.
  4. Again, cautious of spoiling things we'd like you all to experience yourselves, discuss as a community and so on, but Qualifications (this is the official name for it) are very important to your progression. If you rewatch the video where it's mentioned, you might be able to work out the requirements for some of the Qualifications - most of which will tie into the core loop, so it shouldn't feel like this annoying task on the side and is actually more complimentary, rewarding you as you explore, discover and really experience the depth ...

Okay, thanks. It is hard to discern what caused it, since all I did was put stuff into my bank. Hopefully with my settings and what not, they might be able to find the cause.

Great advice u/muzau, thank you!
Could you send me your user or display name please u/squirkey7 (in reply to this comment or via a direct message) and then we can work from said bug report so that we can find the reproduction steps for the issue you've experienced.
It's worth noting, we have found a bug within the bank this evening but it's no more than a minor issue, and there's currently no evidence confirming there's a serious bug is in play, but, as mentioned here we'll continue to monitor the situation closely and update you on any changes.

Thanks,

Hi u/Sansha, could you possibly send me your display name, so I can look into your report please.

Hey,

This has just been hotfixed, so that DXP now ends at 12:00PM GMT on Monday, the 2nd. Unfortunately, anybody who has had their time remaining reduced to 24hrs is unlikely to have their DXP time refunded at this time - this will only be doable on Monday once we have analytics to track who has lost time. Anybody who has yet to log in since this bug has surfaced will not be affected now that it's been hotfixed.

Hey u/joaokpls, thanks for flagging this. Do you know if the players submitted a bug report or not? It would be extremely helpful if they had as there's still a lot of unknown information around this, such as which preset they tried to load, were the items in the preset the same as the inventory, did they have those same items in the bank, what they did beforehand and so on. If they can DM me with their display names so I can chase it up that'd be very much appreciated.

Not to worry - I've spoken with some other Mod's in Player Support and they have a list of all the affected users and will ensure their items are returned and the bug was hotfixed early Saturday afternoon.
