Official Server #3651 on ps4 , I didnt know, I tried reporting them and posting this screenshot so I made an acc but it said new users couldnt put pictures

Since we have the screenshot this time, it won't be necessary. But for future reports your account will probably have the right privileges to upload any picture.

We answered this question recently on this other thread.

We did disable this feature but it was done without prior notice and abruptly, affecting those who used this feature for better purposes than cheating. We rolled it back and promised we'd spend a little more time working on a more robust solution. We've been doing that since then, first with tools to determine if that feature is being abused and to block those who do from using it in the future. We're also working on ways prevent it from being used for malicious intents. Once we have more to announce about this, we'll announce it through our usual channels of communication.

yea. they won't disable family share because of actual families (and rpers), but they could just ban an entire game license (and associated shared accounts). i guess that would require banning offenders to begin with, so never mind.

It was disabled during Summer, to much controversy. We disabled it shortly after since the change was abrupt. Since then, we've been updating our tools and working on some changes behind the scenes.

@Funcom_Ignasis While I know everyone appreciates your response on this matter, your response was not that informative. It good to know you are fixing it the exploit. I assume you have logs on your end that can show the severity of this exploit? I have 4k hours in your game and never seen anything as bad as this. I think what most people wanna know is...

1. What are you doing to punish this hacker.
2. What steps are you taking to make sure it cant happen again.
3. But most importantly, what are you gonna do to rectify this in the short term. IE roll back these servers, wipe them, refund items, etc

1: We've run some investigations and bans have been issued to those accounts found directly involved in these actions.

2: The exploit being abused has been fixed internally and it's been tested and reviewed by QA since it is a deep issue in the engine and any code changes to that are risky to the integrity of any other subsystems. No ETA on when it's going to be released other than when we've got the green light and we're sure these code changes won't compromise the stability of the game.

3: There are no plans for a rollback at the moment. Neither refunds of any items or materials as Conan Exiles doesn't have MMO-like support. Close term we'll focus on deliver the fix for this issue as soon as possible and remain inflexible against those players who abuse of this vulnerability.

PLEASE explain how your statement proves him wrong? You explicitly state that you PREFER to fix the exploit RATHER than ban the exploiters. why not both??

Reading further in our response, we have also mentioned that further steps are taken in extraordinary situations. And in this case, we've done such a thing.

For listing the steam name ARK-Human-123? You know it is all over your forums and this reddit right? Yall going to hide them all? In my humble opinion as an extremely pissed off customer you should not be making snarky community guidelines comments and instead be using your comments to insure the community this will never happen again and let us no what steps if any you plan on taking to address the damage done. But you do you.

Exploit discussion and naming players. We also took steps to address the situation from our end.

I have 4k+ hours. Most of that on official pvp. I have purchased every DLC and WAS a happy Conan fan. Banning the player does nothing as he has stated he is not a Conan player. This was beyond a simple exploit. Roll back should be considered.

Can we get an official response to this event. The guy had full admin powers and deleted multiple clans stuff on several OFFICIAL servers. I have screenshots and player names if you need more information.

There's been a few acknowledgements already in our forums. Our team has investigated the incident and taken appropriate action against those found abusing this exploit. The exploit itself is also fixed internally, but is still undergoing code review and QA confirmation.

Unfortunately, Funcom Ignasis told me that they don't ban hackers or exploiters. So we're fucked.

That is quite incorrect. Our stance is to prefer to fix the exploit rather than ban the exploiter, but we do exceptions depending on the impact of the exploits or exploiting being abused. As some of you in this thread are already aware. :)

It's been fixed internally and coming with the next patch.

Dear exiles,

As you know, we’re working on adding mounts to Conan Exiles. You may also know that we’re adding mounted combat, so you can crush your enemies and drive them before you using weapons from horseback.

What you may not know is that we’re also adding a leveling system for Pets and Thralls (collectively called Followers going forward). Please note, this is only for Thralls and Pets you can place out in the world and have follow you, not crafting thralls.

The upcoming leveling system allows you to to level your followers through combat in the same fashion that you do as a player. Leveling a Follower grants them stat-points that are automatically distributed through a weighted system (see below), and these stats grant various bonuses such as improved health, improved damage, and so forth.

Yes, there is a plan. As stated in the patch notes under "Known Issues", we're working on that issue -which appeared previously in the Wine Cellar update- and it will be released in a future patch.

Ninja-jump in server reports then, please... :) I reported 1035 a few times, yet the map is still walled-in almost entirely by a few obnoxious morons... How often do you guys read those anyway ? Need help ? :P (sincere question :) )

We check them as often as we can if given through the proper channels for this kind of reports, which is via DM in our forums to either me or Hugo. No help needed.
