I tagged you, but I'm still in negative merits. I'm not trying to be rude, but it seems that reporting this specific bug is kinda useless. I played all night and I'm still level 1, it is just not nice.
Beside, it might even be a hard bug to catch at its origin, but I'm 100% sure that a workaround like "if player merits go below 0 → something wrong, set to 0" it's not that hard.
I know it's not your fault, but it's frustrating.

Never noticed before. I just ended prestige 3 and began prestige 4, but I'm stuck at level 1 because it's taking so long to do the negative merits. Could you take a look?

Same thing happened to me on the same prestige. But it was -7,000 for me. This happened on Sunday prior to latest update and I'm on ps4

u/FoxhoundFPS I prestiged in blackout and I'm stuck at level 1 with -5400 merits. Any fix to this?

After prestiging, my merits are in the negative. All merits earned count towards this progress but it will not level up until the negative balance has been earned. It was about -13,000 right after prestiging. It looks as if a lot of Xbox players are having this issue since the most recent patch. Hopefully it's noticed by the team and fixed.

u/FoxhoundFPS MAJOR BUG in blackout reaper footsteps are ENTIRELY silent, you cant even hear him climb ladders
