No. Couldn't update all night long. Can't download the game.

I just checked on one of our Samsung Note 8 devices and was able to update and do a fresh download and install of the game without any issues. You can try some of the troubleshooting steps suggested in this help article: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/mobile/troubleshooting-steps-for-android/

My suspicion is that it may be your internet connection at fault, so trying a different connection would be the first step I'd suggest.

Hey, thanks for the report. I checked on both Android and iOS that all the enemy ships display portraits when in battle. Can you please try to reinstall the game and let me know if the issue remains?

Just a quick note to say that we have this flagged as a bug which can occur when the internet connection is unstable. As it was pointed out in the previous comments, restarting the game fixes the issue. Apologies for the inconvenience while we are working on a fix.
