Ya but players have fallen out of the capital ships before to the ground maps. Aren't they interiors and ground in the same level? Not arguing, just verry curious about how it works.
It’s not just loading the maps, but so the AI, the Battle Beyond, environmental effects, etc. A lot goes on to make the battles feel more authentic that tends to blend in.
It’s a neat idea, but the loading between locations is by design. This isn’t as feasible on all platforms as it may seem.

Unfortunately, it's not as easy as just getting PlayStation on board. Games either have to have their network architectures overhauled to support it or be built from the ground up for it.
I believe this is changing in this update. Grievous can no longer be pushed while using UA, so Han's Shoulder Charge shouldn't stop him.

A dev actually commented on this a few days ago. It's a technical thing, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. We'll look into it.
