Regardless of environment or quality of teammates? LeBron goes somewhere then they instantly trade all their assets for good players to be contenders for 2-3 years before he jumps ship leaving behind a rotting carcass of an organization. Not saying he’s not good but he’s basically always in the same situation.

Lol, if there’s a GM out there that wouldn’t take a championship in exchange for a few years of being terrible then they are a terrible GM.

Cool-I-guess

I mean I don't really think DRX not contesting Baron or Soul is the right play

It seems like they were trying to contest but were bullied off it so much they couldn’t even get close.

Mad Lions ain't making it out anyways.

Silence does not block smite.

edit: only malz ult, ww ult, urgot ult reel-in, skarner ult, and bard ult stop smite. Probably zhonya’s active too, but i dont play jungle enough to have built zhonya’s as a jungler

Zhonyas stops smite, but you do that to yourself. Which, incidentally, Inspired did to himself on an earlier Baron steal attempt.

A VPN won’t help. Your ping is limited by the speed of light. You’re 10000km away from the NA servers. At light speed in a straight line it would take 70ms for the round trip. But it’s taking a zigzag path not a straight line, and it’s going less than the speed of light, so your actual ping will be even worse. You’re not ever going to get great ping at that distance.

Skarner? Who?

Think this must of been one of those beta champions that didn't make it into the release, like that crystal scorpion thing.

It was bigger before xp was tied to jungle item, and Sion could get level 2 off the camp.

Yeah, I think now it's much more about setting the enemy jungler way behind than about getting a big lead in lane.

DuhChappers

There was an old strat where sion would use his passive to take enemy red buff. He would die halfway through the camp and finish it with passive, then tp back to lane. Not sure it was ever used for towers but stealing jungle camps was a big thing for years.

Not even that old, wasn’t it used in a playoff game last season?

Wow. I love this. I might make it my meeting background and replace the Cosmic Skarner splash.

You crack it as a joke but there was a Genuinely goodHeartseeker Rek'sai concept some years ago.

The idea of Heartseeker Skarner and Rek'sai isn't bad. It's the execution and thought process behind it.

What makes you think I’m joking?

Oopsifartedsorry

pitch them Star Guardian Rek’sai :)

I have pitched Rek'sai and Skarner for Valentine's day. Haven't gotten anywhere with that one either.

Star Guardian Skarner. I’ve pitched it many times but for some reason it never happens.

That is hilarious

By "CPU" do you mean "computer," or specifically the CPU? My computer is 12, and the CPU is 12, but some parts are newer, like the eight-year-old video card (1G VRAM, phew). Also, how often does your minspec machine get wiped for a fresh install?

I meant the actual CPU. The Intel minspec CPU was released over 10 years ago.

This isn't so much about Vex specifically as it is that in general we do want to give our art and dev teams space to do things like they're doing with Vex.

We are very, very conservative about changing our minspec, because we want to make sure that as many players as possible around the world are able to play League. In many regions, players are far more likely to be playing on older hardware than they are in NA or EU (where most redditors are).

Before we change the minspec, we look very closely at the number of players worldwide that will be affected, and for the most part, we won't adjust it until that number is very small. Even then, we balance that against the benefits we'll be able to deliver to all of our players by giving our artists more capabilities.

The only real exception to this would be if third parties (e.g. OSX, Windows) drop support or change requirements for things that we don't have control over. Even then, those parties usually aren't dropping support until the ...
