(2022) With the recent loss, Faker won the most international Finals (5) and lost the most at the same time (4)

Original Post

Faker won 5 international Finals: Worlds-2013/2015/2016 and MSI-2016/2017, which is the highest number of all players.

But also he lost 4 Finals: MSI-2015/2022, Worlds-2017/2022 which is also the highest number of all players too. Interesting that T1 almost completely repeats DK trajectory from previous year and lose both international Finals in 2 full 5 games series.

If we add Asian Games, then numbers will be 5-5, as Faker lost Asian Games-2018 Finals too.

Quite funny.

Addition: btw one more mind blowing number: if we take “9” (or 10, up to you) number as “international finals”, then Faker reaches finals in 75-80% of the times he attend. He misses Finals only in 2019 (MSI, Worlds) and in 2021. Always at least in Semis, 9/10 times in finals from 12/13 attendances.

Regardless of environment or quality of teammates? LeBron goes somewhere then they instantly trade all their assets for good players to be contenders for 2-3 years before he jumps ship leaving behind a rotting carcass of an organization. Not saying he’s not good but he’s basically always in the same situation.

Lol, if there’s a GM out there that wouldn’t take a championship in exchange for a few years of being terrible then they are a terrible GM.
