how does this work??

You have to finish the New York campaign and reach Level 40. After that you can mix and match with lower level players in non-NY activities.

My two biggest questions:

• SHD levels apply for everyone, not just owners of the expansion?
  
• Faster movement and skill usage was mentioned about a month ago in relation to this patch. I didn't see it in the patch notes above. Did that get added?

• SHD Levels are Level 40 players only.
• I'd need to double check. It's likely easier for you to play and see for yourself than waiting for me. With the not so stellar launch it's a bit busy.

No clue, that's more something for the support. I do know that new graphics drivers were released yesterday.

It wouldn’t work for me, I went off to do something else, died and respawned - then it worked. Maybe the reload was the trigger. I didn’t quit/restart at all

It basically needs you to find a server instance that is not borked. How you get there is pretty much not important, re-logging and fast travelling should just do server instance transfers.

Because it requires a new server build I'm afraid. The fix also is not as simple as it might seem. The team here is working on it.

Yes. We likely won't have a new server build ready until tomorrow. Some players are stating that re-logging or fast travelling back and forth can make the community leaders work again. Additionally you can activate any of the investigations of the 4 lieutenants just by going to the area, so if one does not work you can try another clue hunt.

We'll keep you updated but it likely will require a maintenance tomorrow morning.

Relog did not work for me, fast travel to another place then back to the safehouse fixed it for me however.

Thanks for that. I'll add that as another workaround.

Hey guys. We are aware of the issue and our team is working on a fix. We have seen some players saying that restarting the game will fix this. I know this is a bit painful for PC players that might receive an ECHO when trying to login again.

Can a console player maybe confirm if restarting the game or logout / login will help?

It's not going to be sold. We want to make it available via gameplay but haven't ironed out the details for it yet. We also want to avoid sitting out the Season being the best way to get the Skill.

That's currently not planned, no.

Just want to point out that when you buy the expansion you get a Level 30 Character Boost you can apply to current and new characters. That pushes you to Level 30 World Tier 5 and you can jump into New York immediately.

So, even if you don't make it to WT5 by March 3rd, you can still use the boost then and hop right into Manhattan if you want.

Are the specializations finished? As in no more is going to be added to the game?

There are no new Specializations added for the WONY launch. For now we don't have plans to add more but there's always a chance for additional ones.

Would those patch notes happen to include fixes for the missing attachments for new players?

I talked about it to the team and they are looking to fix the missing Blueprints / not being able to craft something even though you have the Blueprint. I don't know what the status is and if it'll be in this patch.

We unfortunately do not. We tried to make it happen but it's a pretty busy time before launch and it just didn't work out. We plan to have the details in the Patch Notes. Sorry about that.

will it fix the clan/friends menu bug where all of your friends are showing offline even when they are playing the game?

We don't have the fix for this ready, unfortunately. We are also having trouble reproducing it internally so investigation is ongoing. We definitely see this as a big prio for the team though.

You always play in the same world, so if you set your global difficulty to Heroic and put some directives on, whoever you invite will play that content. If your friend is lower level than you they get scaled up to your level.

Lower Level players will not be able to join higher Level levels. As a high Level player you can join a low Level player in their instance and world, which will then be scaled up. Therefore lower Level players are not able to participate in Directives or Global Events.
