u/TheFortniteTeam u/CatBlips_epic First person mode in STW is bugged really bad with most weapons becoming bugged out when aiming and the character not being in first person. Would like for this to be investigated if not already thanks!!

Trap Durability

The good news is it will be fixed in a future update.
As of 27.00, any form of Trap Durability bonus (Hero Loadout, Survivor Squads) is not applied when loading into a mission with pre-existing traps placed down (Endurance, Wargames, Storm Shield Defenses). If you place a NEW trap down while in a mission it will have the bonuses, but not pre-existing traps. This bug is absolutely destroying Twine Peaks and Canny Valley Endurance runs.
TL;DR, Pre-existing traps don't get durability bonuses applied to them.

After the STW community managers got let off and catblips took over the poor girl has been getting issues fired at her like a machine gun 😭 every thread i see on here now has a ping for Catblips, i'm glad that we have someone who communicates so much but i hope she's not getting too overwhelmed.
It’s a lot of pings haha! I just see it shows how awesome, dedicated and passionate the StW community is. This is a great community to be part of.
I may not respond to every ping but I do look at them all. Additionally, I’m not the only community manager, there are a couple of us still and we will all be touching StW - not just me.

It only happens in Spanish and Spanish Latam as I indicated in the image, this bug was introduced in the previous update, I was going to report this to Freight some time ago but the layoff happened :(

Epic screwed me over. I can’t get the Hazardous Piper Face style anymore. I did the final quest, and just because I left the match after I completed it it bugged out and now the objective is gone and I didn’t get it. Nice job as usual Epic Fail.

According to Freight before he was let go, Epics aware of this and apparently it's a lot harder to fix than it seems.
u/catblips_epic, gonna tag you with this since it has got worse since 26.30.
This happens on PS5 and Xbox Series S|X, PC and last gen consoles are unaffected. This has been an issue since November 2022, and has been getting progressively worse over the past year. As you can see in this clip it is nearly impossible to see anything in the Storm King fight... the next event for STW takes place in an all snow/fog zone, which I fear might be borderline unplayable for next-gen console players.
TL;DR, Fog on next-gen consoles has become so thick that it is almost borderline unplayable.
