There was a rather large required download of close to 3.5 GB this morning to Arena.
But I can't seem to find the patch notes or any information pertaining to the download anywhere.
What did we just download?
It was to fix a bug that some people were running into.

My favorite loss wasn't really a beat down, but just a fun instance that I'll always remember.
It was towards the end of my work day, so I thought I'd play a quick game on MTGA. Well we were both playing janky token decks, so our "quick game" ended up lasting TWO HOURS. We both had crazy board states and way too much life so the game wasn't going to end any time soon. My coworker finally told me to surrender because the other person deserved it (and at that point it was probably 7:30pm so we were the last people in office). I'd call that sufficient communication, although an in-client message would have been optimal.
Every time we do in-client messaging, some people say that they hate it haha. It all comes down to personal preference. The status page is our official place check, or our twitter. If something is posted on the status page then it gets posted to the twitter as well.

This forum makes it seem like the patch is done, and the game should be up and running. So, how long before we can actually play again? I'm getting tired of loading it up and getting the SYSTEM IS DOWN message.
The game should definitely be operational. Could you walk me through what is exactly happening to you?

My checking for updates is currently at 5mins 12secs and counting. Will update when it eventually finishes
I mean, there's an actual update that it is checking for right now, but going forward it shouldn't be a problem. Definitely keep me posted though!
