Problem: Everytime my friend joins my in game party he can’t load into matches, he consistently gets ‘error 201’. When he is not in the party it works fine. He can’t join my games either he gets the error as well. This makes it pretty hard for us to play in the same squad since you cant change your squad when you join a game later in the match (the only way I can play with him is by joining his matches).

First seen: couple days ago for me but I found a bunch of old posts with the same problem

This error code is usually the sign of a porting issue, you or your friend can open their ports via the steps in this article, this should hopefully resolve the problem.

Problem: Game crashes during Capital Supremacy ground-to-capital-ship cutscene.

First noticed: June 2019

Reproduce: play a really long game of capital supremacy (usually only happens in long ones)

This is a known issue, one which we are currently working on resolving.

No, you need to log in after it has been completed in order to gain the reward no matter if you had participated before that point or not.

can u please acknowledge that Maul's victory pose wasn't granted to people who participated in the event? I mean I got the voice line so why not the pose? u/f8rge u/ea_charlemagne

We have responded to this throughout Twitter, Reddit and the Forums. The team are aware of this issue and are working out ways to resolve it for those that should have received the reward. I don't have much else to say, but we are aware of it.

Once the Community Quests have been completed, whatever time is remaining - you would be able to log into the game and collect the reward.

Once the challenges below have been reached, the rewards for them will become available to anyone that logs in before the Community Quest ends.

Hey Leow, You should've been able to log in and it would have gifted you the reward, that or play a match and then check. Doesn't seem to be the case however, we have escalated this and the team will investigate further.

Why aren’t you on vacation? Or do y’all like take turns like Jeff gets the first week of the month and Mickey gets the second week? Like let’s say you got yours earlier this month or something.

I'm located in the UK, the vacation thing that happens in Sweden doesn't apply to me. :)

To respond to this, it was a quick post that I had made at around 6 AM just before I went to bed. The intention behind it was to basically recognize a player for sharing positivity within the community and for also thanking them for returning and checking out Battlefront once again - nothing more, nothing less. I will continue to do the same for other returning players and new players too as I personally feel that is something that should be celebrated.

The team are aware of the bugs being reported and whilst many at DICE are now on vacation, there are some that continue to work on improving the game and correct those bugs that the community continue to report through to us. We have been clear about some of the known issues, and stated that those will be fixed in the next update, there is more that can be done from us however and once some members of the Community Team have returned from vacation I will make a request that we create a list of known issues to be clearer on this for ...

Battlefield is Battlefield and Battlefront is Battlefront. They are not artificially making it so that either is distinct, they are naturally distinct and are at different ends of the spectrum. Each has its own specific formulas, history, and player base with different expectations of what they want with their game, and the same goes for DICE too.

It's important to note while some may be in favor of it becoming more "Battlefield" there are also some that want it to remain like the "Battlefront" of olde, or even remain like DICE's interpretation and plans for Battlefront as it stands now.

DICE aren't intending Battlefront to be "more of the same" when it comes to those Battlefield comments, they are different and will likely remain so - while sharing a few features between them because that is Frostbite more than a 'franchise'.

This issue has now been resolved, simply log into the game or complete an activity and the reward will be waiting for you in your Collection. We've also extended the Community Quest: Free Your Rage by a day for the inconvenience that was caused.

If I don't login during the event, will I still be able to get te emote/victory pose afterwards?

You will need to login once the relevant Community Quest has been completed, once its completed you will have the duration of the event to claim the reward.

Example: If one of the two quests is completed on the 20th July, you will have until the 27th July to log into the game and have the reward automatically applied. If you log in after the 27th, you won't be able to activate the reward.
