Can you ensure that your anti-virus has the game whitelisted. Or you can try disabling your anti-virus entirely.

Please run through all the fixes here especially the appdata one

Also please post any launcher or console logs which you can find by looking at this post

Can you fully disable both as a test?

As that is an EAC error you should start by trying to reinstall EAC. This also appears to be a program conflict error, thus you might want to check what programs may be conflicting with EAC to generate this error.

Most anti-cheats don’t allow to be run in a VM. Its unlikely EAC will ever change that

Can you please upload your console logs and launcher logs as well please.

Do you have the Windows Paging file disabled

Note that task manager isnt a great tool to measure GPU utilization. It would be better if you used a more widely used overlay such as the Afterburner overlay which tends to give more accurate results. Alternatively you can use HWmonitor

For example here is a screenshot of me running the Hitman3 benchmark which is obliterating my GTX1080. But windows GPU utilizaiton is extremely low. HWMonitor more accurately shows the GPU usage.

I would go through the fixes to address issues with the launcher

Also launcher issues can be caused by your anti-virus conflicts. I would try to either whitelist the entire game directory, or as a test totally disable your anti-virus

Note the game isnt doing anything when steam is installing teh game. Thus its either something with your steam install, the drive you’re installing to, or your anti-virus

You can also try running steam as an administrator as well

That’s really more of a Steam problem. Have you tried a different drive on your system?

Note that write errors in the steam client are generally speaking because your anti-virus is killing the download by locking the file. You’ll need to add whitelisting in your anti-virus to address this issue

The launcher ensures all the components so you can’t run the exe directly

1. Run steam as an administrator
2. Disable your anti-virus as a test
3. Delete teh appdata folder for darktide as outlined here

It looks like youre running driver version 512.95

Can you try upgrading to the latest Nvidia drivers which are 526.98

Initially looks like a GPU driver issue. Please reinstall the latest Nvidia drivers, but use the “Clean Install” option. Note you must sleect the “Custom install” option first, then at one point it will ask you if you wish to do a clean install fo the previous drivers. If you use the “express install” option, the clean install option doesnt appear

Note many mobile ISP block Steam due to its bandwidth usage. Do you have an alternate connection to test with?
