It looks like EAC wasn’t able to load. Are you trying to launch the game directly from the exe and bypassing the launcher?

Ensure you’re launching the game through the launcher. Also double check your whitelisting of the game in your anti-virus and firewall

Run steam as an admin, and then launch the game through steam and see if that helps too

Please provide any darktide launcher and console logs for when the crashes occur. Also look in the event viewer as usually when the OS crashes it will generate a crash log

Can you provide console logs and darktide launcher logs from when the game crashed?

try changing your DNS settings to OpenDNS or Google DNS.

The logs seem to indicate that the game cannot contact the back end servers

I would look into your anti-virus/firewall to ensure that it is not blocking the game from reaching those servers

The pre-order beta is a bit ‘weird’ to find in the MS Store. Please follow the FAQ above to find it. It requires a lot of scrolling down on various pages to find the thing that actually is the pre-order beta. Unfortunately this is a MS Store UI/UX thing.

If its character based, have you tried swapping out different weapons? Its possible a specific weapon on your Zealot may be causing the issue

Also if you create a totally new zealot do you have the same problem?

Please post your console and dark tide launcher logs

Can you screenshot your virtual memory settings again?

Also how much free space do you have on your C:\ and D:\ ?

Yeah that’s likely the issue what I would do is

1. uncheck “automatically mange paging file size”
2. Select your D:\ and then the radio button “System managed size”. Then click “Set”
3. If you’re running out of space on your c:\ you can select your C:\ and then select the radio button “no paging file” then click “Set”
4. you’ll need to reboot to make those changes

having 1GB free on your c:\ isnt super optimal as it can cause wierd issues if you run out of disk space on yoru OS drive. The OS wont’ outright crash, but it will start acting ‘weird’, until you free up disk space.

Do you have paged files disabled on your computer? Because it kinda looks like you don’t have a paging file.

Your errors look like your anti-virus is killing the game

Please ensure you have whitelisting for the Darktide game in your anti-virus. As a test you can totally disable your anti-virus as well.

The minimum supported resolution is 1080p

My understanding is that the ability to even select 720p is a bug and it shouldn’t be available as an option.

1. try reverifying the game data in Steam

2. run steam as an administrator

3. disable your anti-virus as there seems to be some kind of file conflict going on in the logs

Given the game uses EOS it should be fine with the Epic launcher

I would probably try just exiting the client as a test, rather than unisntalling the client.
